Two seasoned figures of the European electronic underground scene, Chrom label owner Pedro Mercado and uruguayan-catalan producer Fernando Lagreca, join forces again on Chrom to present "Cosmic Tide": a two-track + remixes EP that draws from the emotional depth of melodic techno while flirting with the darker edges of indie-dance and the nocturnal pulse of dark disco. This release is the long awaited follow up of their massive EP on MUKKE from two years ago.

The title track, "Cosmic Tide" sets the tone with sweeping synth work, hypnotic arpeggios and a deep, rolling groove — evocative and celestial, yet anchored in club functionality. 

With Cosmic Tide, Chrom Recordings continues its steady push into hybrid electronic terrain, where melody meets muscle, and emotion is never an afterthought.

CHROM goes ADE2025 with a VA-Sampler ànd a 2-day label showcase!

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday.

Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: "Horizon", taken from the "#100"-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single "Missing, the iconic 90's classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass.

The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage', Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium.

We hope you enjoy this year's selection! And if you'll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, we'd love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. Just like last years, we're teaming up with our good friends from Tanzgemeinschaft, with Strange Town Recordings from Canada joining us on Friday.
