For the last Chrom release of 2022 we welcome back Dmitriy Shulgin on our label. Dmitriy made his Chrom debut 6 months ago on our "Chromologic X" Sampler under the alias 'Doppelganger'. His track "Contact" was heavily supported by Undercatt and became one of our biggest indie dance sellers on beatport this year.

So the next logical step is his own Chrom EP, this time under another new alias 'Do Magic', but in the same musical line. His EP is called "Hungry Corpse" and contains not less than 4 super catchy indie dance originals that will set every dancefloor on fire!

"This must have been one of the biggest tracks in most of my dj sets of last year and I'm super excited it will now be finally available for everybody" says our label manager Pedro Mercado about "Gideon", the title track of our newest Chrom EP. Pedro created this track during the pandemic in collaboration with JG Outsider and started to test it with big success in his gigs as soon as the pandemic was over. Subsequently Pedro Mercado & JG Outsider produced also some more tracks together, and so this EP was born!

The title track "Gideon" is an epic anthem which holds the perfect balance between Progressive House and Melodic Techno!

"Chrom head honcho Pedro Mercado hooked up with Dutch legendary DJ/producer Yves Eaux to create a brand new dancefloor stormer called "Chakra Khan", featuring the amazing vocals of Jay Davi!

It was right after their gig at Het Stadsfeest in Apeldoorn in Holland last year when Pedro and Yves decided to have a drink together to chill out. The duo was joined by American MC Jay Davi from Columbus (Ohio) who had his very first European performance at this sold out event. This was when the idea was born for a collab track and they immediately started to write some lyrics together. The day after they went into the studio where they laid the foundations for this remarkable gem called "Chakra Khan". It showcases not only the superb production skills of the two deejays, it also brings out the quality of Jay Davi as a vocalist. Although it is spoken word recording, Jay adds a strong and mesmerizing layer to the track bringing it up to a spiritual level. The result is truely outstanding! "Chakra Khan" has been road tested since then on various gigs and it turns out to work some real magic on the dancefloors. Crowds have a very strong response to it and people come up to the DJ booth asking for the track-ID. And now it's finally time for "Chakra Khan" to spread its positive vibes to the global dance floors.

On top of that both producers added their own remix: Yves Eaux adds his typical driving tech style, while Pedro Mercado delivers a beautiful Organic House interpreation by teaming up with his female partner Na Té under their alias AkpaLa."

"It's almost that time of the year again: October, which means another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is around the corner. And of course Chrom is more than ready for it with our annual ADE Sampler ànd a 2-days label showcase on Friday ànd Saturday!

On our ADE2023 release called "Amsterdam 2023" we present 10 brand-new exclusive tracks, covering the full spectrum from Progressive House and Indie Dance to Melodic House & Techno. Of course we have many Chrom core members on board for this important release: our own label manager Pedro Mercado, Fernando Lagreca, AMARE, Qarrassa, and Yves Eaux teaming up with Nick Vale. Plus some familiar faces: Daniel Vilchez, and Filip Fisher teaming up with JO:LE. First of all a big thx to the many people that joined our 2 ADE label showcases last week in Amsterdam !!! Our label manager Pedro Mercado started his ADE-set on Friday with the title track of this new Chrom EP by Victim (SE)!

Victim (SE) made a successful Chrom debut in the beginning of this year with their track “Lunae”, which was released on one of our Chromologic Samplers. And now they are already back on Chrom with their own EP, which is called “Oas”.

Victim (SE), a Swedish duo accompanying each other on a dark & melodic journey, delight us with 3 fantastic Melodic House & Techno tracks. The title track Oas is an epic masterpiece floating on an emotional vocal which will give you goosebumps! The 2 other tracks “The Moment” and “Titrus Stabilosis” are pure peaktime power which can set every dancefloor on fire. On top of that we asked one of our resident artists Qarrassa to deliver a remix of the title track, adding some subtle extra elements and his typical rolling groove to the original.
