If you’d try to find a single genre that classifies CHROMA’s sound, you’d definitely end up failing. Although this DJ/producer’s heart is beating for minimal, she can also easily drop in a 90s pop song into her sets, and it’s these kinds of exotic, unexpected sounds that merge with bouncy techno and deep house (and all permutations in between) that create an eclectic, yet unified, style.

On a Spiritual journey to the freedom of life

I’m a hobbyist with a focus on chunky tech, lush soundscapes, moody vibes, and hypnotic rhythm. 

I’m not too worried about a purist sound. I look for ways to expand my musical vocabulary and make underground music more approachable for everyone. 

I started DJing with drum & bass on vinyl. As digital DJ equipment became available, I grew to appreciate the ability to loop and play with tunes in a less linear fashion and began gravitating towards progressive, psychedelic techno. 

I’ve played up and down the west coast of the US and Mexico at burning man & regionals, desert gatherings in the Mojave, and warehouse parties in SD, LA and SF.
