Classically trained and with a passion for sound system culture, Tailored Sound bridges the gap between live instrumentation and electronic music. Known for his journey-like sets with fully improvised saxophone, he brings a powerful and unique dimension to genres ranging from dub and roots to jungle and drum & bass.

Based in Bristol, Tailored Sound has spent the last decade performing and releasing music with acts such as Turno, Vivek, Gardna, Born on Road, Sinai, Deep Medi, System, and Boom Sound. He has performed across the UK and Europe, most notably at Glastonbury, Outlook Festival, and Boomtown.

Now stepping forward as a solo artist, Tailored Sound blends live saxophone with DJing to deliver immersive, multi-genre performances that honour the energy of sound system culture. Whether on a festival stage or deep in the dance, his sets are dynamic, unpredictable, and built for the moment.

Since teaming up in 2010, Bristol-based drum ’n’ bass duo Chromatic – real names Leon Bailey and Joe Rossitter – have released music on seminal labels including Playaz, Innerground, V Recordings, Crucast, CIA, Commercial Suicide, Fokuz, Formation Records, Utopia Music and Lossless Music.

The pair’s refusal to conform to one specific style of DnB has resulted in dozens of plays on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM, plus DJ support from the scene’s most respected selectors including Roni Size, DJ Hype, DJ Marky, LTJ Bukem, Rene LaVice, Kanine, London Elektricity and more.

Chromatic have remixed artists including DJ Fresh, MC $pyda and E-Z Rollers. The pair’s track ‘Sunrise’, produced for Bru-C’s album ‘Original ‘Sounds’, has achieved over five million Spotify plays, while their unofficial remix of Pharoahe Monch’s ‘Simon Says’ continues to be a secret weapon for countless DJs.

Away from the studio, Chromatic are also seasoned DJs, playing at events such as DJ Marky & Friends at Fabric and Detonate Festival, as well as bookings abroad in Czech Republic and New Zealand.
