The One Man Army. Uno de los DJ’s, selectores y productores mas activos en España, pionero en el Reggae/Dancehall en su ciudad natal Burgos.
En sus sesiones mezcla Dancehall, Raggamuffin, Rub A Dub, Dem Bow, Hip Hop, Afrobeat... y cualquier género que se fusione o coja referencias de la música jamaicana suenan en su selección, ademas de una larga lista de Dubplates (grabaciones exclusivas) de cantantes de Jamaica y todo el mundo

En su curriculum mas de 800 sesiones en directo en los mejores clubs, salas y festivales de todo el país, y en estudio 5 LP's, mas de 30 singles en colaboración con artistas de todo el mundo y casi 100 Cd Mixtapes, con asiduidad desde 2002 hasta el día de hoy, repasando las novedades cada año con sus #DancehallNews , y otras temáticas como sus tributos en la serie #OneManOneMixOneLove, o su ya clásico #SpanishShots, que durante años seleccionó lo mejor del año en España.

En directo ha trabajado de Dj para artistas nacionales e internacionales de la talla de Ward21 (Jamaica), Kabu Banton (Panamá), Banton (CostaRica) SkarraMucci (UK), Chukki Starr (UK), Daddy Freddy (UK), Deadly Hunta (UK), Lyricson (Fr) Mr.Rango, Little Pepe, Green Valley, Capaz, Shotta, Tosko, Chulito Camacho, Mad Muasel, Hermano L, Lasai, Novato, Dakaneh, KinkyBwoy o Yeyo Perez entre una larga lista.

Como productor musical es creador de varios riddim albums y decenas de singles junto a diferentes cantantes.
En 2012 fundó su propio sello discográfico independiente (Chronic Records) con el que ha respaldado y publicado +300 referencias propias y de otros artistas.

Como promotor (Dancehall Xplosion Festival) cuenta con una experiencia de 34 ediciones del festival, en 11 ciudades diferentes, sumando mas de 25.000 asistentes en total.

Eddy Banton is a reggae artist whose sound is rooted in the Caribbean and blossomed in Andalusia. Born on the Caribbean coast of Venezuela to a West Indian father and a Spanish mother, Eddy brings a unique blend of island consciousness and Mediterranean fire to every track and stage.

Now based between Andalusia and the UK, Eddy’s style spans the full spectrum of reggae — from roots and dub to dancehall and raggamuffin. A devoted voice in the sound system movement, his lyrics are steeped in social awareness, unity, and original expression.

Eddy has shared stages and sessions with heavyweight names like Johnny Osbourne, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Soul Stereo Sound, Brother Culture, and the Dub Pistols, building a reputation for energetic performances and lyrical authenticity across Europe’s reggae and dub scenes.

Whether recording in the studio or shelling down a dance, Eddy Banton stays true to the message: real reggae with soul, fire, and purpose.
