The second (and final) hour of the 2-hour BOTTOM 30 of Kenny Everett's amazing World's Worst Wireless Show on Capital Radio 194 London, UK. This count-downs from #14 to #1. This was broadcast on Saturday 14th May 1977 between 13:00 and 14:00.
This was pieced-together from fragments as I had as I managed to lose the complete recording I made of the final hour of this show. Thus, this is not a "fluid" as the other 1977 shows I have posted. Doesn't matter - it's all great anyway.
There was a 1980 version of the show with some equally awful tunes... I don't have a FULL recording of this (I love the adverts and the period news broadcasts) so I will probably not post the show.

I have a small label (Equation Records) which loses money and would welcome some support! My screen-name "Chronoglide Skyway" is from a Hawkwind song from their album "Astounding Sounds Amazing Music" - Hawkwind are my ALL-TIME favourite band!

As for me - I am a British expat living here in the good ol' USA (since 2001). I grew-up in East London (well,mostly in Leigh-on-Sea, which is quite a way East of London). I'm a Petroleum Reservoir Engineer (technical & boring but pays the bills) and my various uploads are as a fan and for fun only. I make NO money from presenting this material.

I deeply dislike and distrust Facebook (although I do have a presence) and refuse to have a mobile phone (so no Twitter [whatever that is]) and, frankly, all these other gimmicky new fangled technological stuff / fads / thingy's. It's really either too above me (true) or it's just all rubbish and we're making life HARDER for ourselves (maybe I'm half-right).
 
Personally, I would LOVE to just go BACK in time and live in 1950's Britain (austere though it was). Possibly back to the Edwardian era as well (although I need to be able to bring my meds with me, and soft loo paper :-). I do NOT enjoy living in these fast-paced modern times - it's all moving far too fast for my liking. Basically I'm just a grumpy old unapologetic Luddite. I'm just an old nostalgic grump-pot longing for simpler, easier, slower times!
I LOVE cats though, so I do have some redeeming qualities!
