In anticipation of Defrostatica Records's Champion Sound debut, we are happy to premiere Sun Peoples break beat filled footwork jungle remix of "Talk." The Moscow trio known as "Champion Sound" is a producer trio who played together in a reggae band and then decided to form their dub and jungle love into modern club tracks. Neekeetone, Distant Roots and General Koondoongoo are pushing a sound within the Moscow bass scene that is tearing down the city's techno barriers for a diverse vibe of dubstep, jungle and footwork. 

With a recently released 12" on Berlin based label Through These Eyes Records and DJ support by the likes of Om Unit, Moresounds, J:Kenzo, Sun People, Mister Shifter, Mystic Pulse they are on their way to ravers worldwide. Look out for this release dropping on Defrostatica October 4th!

Across our tenure as a platform, we've been privileged enough to host a number of tracks from one of our favourite and hottest-tipped upcoming producers - 9TRANE. In the past, we've premiered 'Karbon' & his exceptional remix of Hedchef's 'Transparency Illusion', both deep, bassy creakers that bubble away nicely in the murky, UK Bass bracket. This latest effort, however, may be the finest of the bunch. Debuting on the essential, multi-faceted independent record label, promotional channel & online bass music platform Simply Deep, 9TRANE has come in clutch with a stonking remix of the ultra-talented J-Shadow's 'Modulator'. This release marks a new chapter for Chronos Records, perfectly summarising our new variety-led approach. The 4 track EP ranges from an ethereal and downright beautiful Breakbeat/UK Bass track to some of the hardest and most interesting Halftime and Jungle tracks we've heard. The Bristol-based duo have been on a tear recently, putting out releases on Kiwis and Coconuts and 199 Records. Utilising a refreshing blend of Oldskool Rave sounds with clean, technical productions, these guys have a massive future ahead of them.
