Hey, it's been a while since I posted a mix!

Since 2020, I've been following the evolution of alternative (more techno) scenes like the Modem Swamp and it's given me new ideas and perspectives.
I started mixing house and techno when I was young. Yes, I've been mixing for nearly 30 years now, ha ha, and I love this mix of genres, which is getting more and more interesting !

This set represents the culmination of my experimentations into psytechno.
I'd like to thank Radar Psy Event for allowing me to do the closing of the Veil Of The Moss party. As the party was really Dark Psy / Forest orientated, I had to make the transition from the dark side to the light.

I'd like to thank Zenon, Technogsis and my beloved label Alpaka Muzik for allowing me to create this set.

Therefore, we start a series of compilations where we host labels whose musical vision we respect, appreciate and love in order to expand musical horizons and open minds to different soundscapes. Zenon Records was founded by Sensient (Tim Larner) in Australia in 2003. In a very short time, it established itself as a hallmark of quality music and gathered a dedicated following. While its musical vision is diverse, it is also distinctly its own, so much so that the label's name has become synonymous with its own Psytrance sub-genre for many. Tim collected a wide range of tunes from the label's artists and woven a great story that we urge you to listen to as a whole from start to finish, because we're sure you'll just press play again.

Universal Tribe Records proudly presents: The ‘Australiens’ Remixes

After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records — a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward — a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers — artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track — layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.

One thing’s for sure: with this release, the journey doesn’t stop —

Last weekend I had the honour of playing between Kalya Scintilla and Griffin Kloud, two projects that deeply inspired my path. Sharing that moment at Beyond the Veil was surreal, and I’m endlessly grateful to the team for trusting me.
