An IDM / glitch set I played  for the final outdoor psytrance park party of the season in Pittsburgh.  Root Access Records:  "Silvology"  
Long ambiences fill the space.  Dense textures emerge from abandoned industrial spaces.  White noise filters through the machinery and is transformed into clusters of percussion.  Unexpected pathways emerge through the program as it cycles through simulated environments.

Not my technically most gallant set, with an outright botched swap from Oddrapod to The Greys near the beginning of the set, and a few other technical issues here and there. I was a bit out-of-focus during the early set, I guess. All the same, playing live comes with a certain degree of grit and uneven edges, and the rest of the set seemed to flow well enough. All in all, thanks to all the bright-eyed gnomes and elves who came out to party with us!

There is none, because he prefers groove boxes. Does he have time to sit alone and contemplate the sounds, the endless synth pads and wait for the unfolding? Well, no. Chrysamorph |'krɪ sə mɔrf| (figuratively "shape-of-gold") represents change through loss, and learning to deal with that loss - the painful death-and-rebirth of becoming something less before becoming something more. Gold needs to be worked in order for it to reach its final shape, similar to a caterpillar disintegrating in its chrysalis before becoming what it was meant to be. No creation without destruction. Kill your darlings. Learn to live with your mistakes, and embrace those mistakes. You will never escape them, and trying to ignore them only makes them more massive. There will come a time when death is the only new adventure you'll ever have waiting for you. Get used to the darkness before then, won't you?

Expect robust, coffee-like dark progressive psytrance in almost all of its varieties (from lazy swamp through jazzy zenonesque to cold dark prog, and beyond), frequent lapses into warbling forest prog, and on occasion even some haunted dark forest to herald the great vastness of the interstellar gulf.
