Echoes from DJ Feldweg - Imperfection of Happiness

Auf der Kippe 

Jeder von uns kennt diese Momente, in denen alles unsicher und ungewiss erscheint. Die weitere Zukunft hängt vermeintlich von einem Brief, einer Nachricht oder einer Zu-, bzw. Absage ab. Die Zeit der Unklarheit geht an die Substanz. Eigentlich müsste man sich mit sinnstiftenden Tätigkeiten ablenken, doch irgendwie ist das ganze System wie paralysiert. In diesen Situationen ist die Versuchung aufzugeben groß. Man gibt sich fatalistisch, negativen Gedankenstrudeln hin und ertrinkt beinahe in Selbstmitleid. Die „Was wäre wenn“ Fragespielchen werden durchgekaut, bis sie einem zu den Ohren wieder rauskommen und die ganze Welt erscheint grau und stumpf. 
Doch das kann nicht der Weg sein. Die Verantwortung abzugeben ist keine Option. Das Spiel ist erst vorbei, wenn die letzte Karte ausgespielt ist. Weshalb sollte man dann bereits aufgeben, bevor man sein Blatt überhaupt in Händen hält. Die Ungewissheit mag kräftezehrender, als die harte Realität der Gewissheit sein. Doch die Kunst besteht darin, diesen Zustand mit einem optimistisch ausgerichteten Gemüt durchzustehen. Leichter gesagt als getan und mindestens genauso wichtig wie richtig. 

Unsere heutiger Gast Myrna, aka MADmoiselle kam bereits in ihren frühen Kindertagen mit dem Zauber der Musik in Berührung. Über die Jahre hinweg wechselte das Genre von klassisch zu elektronisch, doch das feine Gespür für Harmonie und Klangsymbiose blieb. Dieses musikalische Verständnis nutzt sie heutzutage bei ihrer Trackauswahl und beim Mixen ihrer Sets. MADmoiselle ist Bestandteil des Woodlands Kollektivs. Im Rahmen dieser Vereinigung stand sie letztes Jahr zum ersten Mal hinter den Decks. Seitdem ist sie Feuer und Flamme und viele weitere Projekte sind bereits in Planung.

What a beautiful gathering of amazing crews and characters it has been! I am fulfilled with happiness by deepening our connections and I am still feeling sublime and overwhelmed about it.
With this set I would like to express my gratitude to @somethingslow and @afterhour-sounds for their support! Both collectives play an important role in my artistic path as they both believe in me and have supported my arts steadily. 
In February 2017 Something Slow invited me to play my first gig in Berlin at Beate Uwe where I also met Uwe from Afterhour Sounds two months before for his 25th techno anniversary! We are not sure anyone ever reads these texts at all, we are not even writing them for someone to read. But we do nonetheless write them to remember. To remember that @Ninze is the first artist Rambalkoshe officially booked, to remember how we were revamping the space with family and friends and how we were carefully choosing 100 individuals to invite to our first live set. To remember how we created xoromat - which ended up becoming one of the cornerstones of our soundcloud page - and how Ninze got terribly sick and was ultimately unable to come. And now that you are listening to this mix, you perceive it as just another of Ninze’s sets, but for us and perhaps for him it’s a whole different story whose embodiment is this music. Hence, the text lags behind music and the artwork in terms of significance on soundcloud, but it would definitely be far less interesting without it.

In 2007 I discovered electronic music. I started to go to festivals, parties and endless raves. When I moved to Hamburg in 2010, I got to know the Rotzige Beatz whose parties include unforgettable experiences in my raver's life. With their amazingly well-established 'Südpol' they created a space in which one is free to be. A big thanks to them for all their efforts, never giving up on their vision!
I felt so moved when they've invited me as well as from the presence of all my beloved friends who came to dance and support me!
Enjoy this icy, funky, groovy 4-hours trip in penguin land by tripping through genres in states of confusion.

My first gig in 2020. 
Here are some new sounds that I mixed up at Bulbul Berlin. It was the afterglow of a full moon night and the energy was high!
Big up to the @we-kuyen family who curate many beautiful events and care for their guests and artists with open hearts.
The motto of the event was ‘Matriarchy' so before I did some research on it and found these quotes in this great article https://bit.ly/308QfnY:

Zurück zum entschleunigten Glück geht es mit den überaus sympathischen beiden Jungs aus Hildesheim. Schwiegermuttis Nonplusultra sozusagen. 
Marvin und Simon sind nicht einfach nur Cousins und somit aus dem selben Blutholz geschnitzt, nein sie verbindet seit jeher eine große Leidenschaft für den gemäßigten 4/4-Takt mit all seinen Facetten. Und dabei sind sie durchaus fleißig. 

Mit Ihrer eigenen Veranstaltungsreihe ´Alle Tanzen´ geben Sie Ihrer Heimatstadt wohltuend frischen Wind in Sachen ravin´ society. Kürzlich erschien Ihr erster Release auf Serafin Audio Imprint, dazu gesellten sich letztes Jahr u.a. Gigs auf Festivals wie Fusion, Artlake, Feel und Melt!

Last year at Burning Man I finally managed to experience the incredible Camp Never Sleep Again. From the decor, music and the hospitality of the camp members, I immediately fell in love with it. Most of my friends were on the lineup, and it was a joy to connect with them, but also making a lot of new friendships. I'm looking forward to next year's burn, where you will most likely find me hugging people at Camp Never Sleep Again. 

Today's journey is all about melancholia, all about hugging the person next to you, while you close your eyes. Passion, love and intimacy. Listen to this journey as you recollect sweet memories....close your eyes and dream of future higher vibrations.
