I Don,t Like Tomorrow Today

Retired musician .  Just writing a few simple songs about
life and growing old.  Song about my childhood on a
Louisiana delta farm.  Most songs were written and composed by me on my Boss  BR8 Digital Recording Studio.  Hope to complete my first CD soon.  I have a few cover songs also.
 

I am human, with loops and a DAW, and days in the world lived  - with joys and loss.....my music may show some of this to you

Somewhere77’ is a London based self-taught solo artist, delivering more of a traditional song writing style with rock, acoustic, folk, country and blues influences.

2024 saw the release of the debut album “Whipped, Stripped & Almost Unplugged” which is a fully acoustic album of original songs featuring the Taylor 214CE DLX and recorded on a Boss BR80. 

Further releases have arrived and will continue to come which will be part of the next album called "The Road to Retrospection" in the near future.

Yes my vocals can be an acquired taste (this is not my day job! 😂) but I do hope that you can at least enjoy the musical melodical side of things.

With occasional assistance from long time friend and collaborator ©️CrackerJack on various tracks, both artists are proud to produce and share music with you and hope that you can find a song among what we have created.

In an interview on GLR when DJ, Reggae Queen Miss ‘P’ asked me, “what was the difference between” me and “your usual Lovers Rocker” At first I had no idea what she was referring to, finally the Penny dropped and replied in Spanish about being milk with Coffee. Of course there is a lot of Coffee in my Music and Artwork. So don’t expect one style from me.

My influences are rangy and eclectic, from my early years Joan Baez and Bob Dylan to Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd and Bob Marly, From Billie Holiday to Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell, Geoffrey Onyema to Dollar Brand, Puccini and Maria Callas, Leonard Cohen, Toots and the Maytals...and so so many more, I am very Lucky to have such a rich tapestry to enjoy.
