Rather than follow the traditional path for this classic Christmas song we decided to change the words just a bit so the story is quicker paced than usual and told in the present tense. The message is eternal and unchanging and we hope our acoustic folk version will express it as well as any other version has for generations. Wishing everyone a very joyful Christmas 2022!

A simple message for the fast approaching Christmas Day, taking the time honored classic tune and adding a few other familiar elements to this folky, upbeat rendition. I want to dedicate this Christmas wish to all my SoundCloud friends but most especially my dear friend and awesome partner in musical crime, Nat Daniels. This one is a solo effort but it goes out to Nat.

This is a cover of the time honored Christmas classic that grew to particular popularity and meaning during WWII for American soldiers fighting far from home. Nat and I both love the song but we wanted to try something a little more lively while maintaining the ultimate melancholy of the words. Just me and my guitar recorded on my cellphone.  I wrote this as a  way of talking about those  who are the haves, and not the have nots. The ones who are doing OK but think they are not. I will put this up on Youtube also.

An original written , composed and presented by Gary McMahon and myself.  We had the help of two great musicians (Josh McAlexander and Lawrence Farr) who brought the lyrics to life with their great voices.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you guys for a great job.  Gary and his families lost their homes in the Paradise, CA fires recently and having a rough time.  We all keep him in our thoughts and pray.

Michael (from Half an Orange) wrote the lyrics to this song (Stems) while living in Rio de Janeiro Brazil for a year. Here is his story on how he wrote the lyrics:

"I went to a party hosted by a trap house. The house was this old mansion that in its prime must have been beautiful. The house was falling apart and slowly dying. At the party I saw a lot of young people addicted to drugs. They, like the house, were withering away. The experience really shook me so I walked home on the beach with my girlfriend in silence. When we got home I couldn't sleep. I wrote Stems as a poem based on what I had seen that night to help calm myself down. When I moved back to the United States Andrew and I turned it into this song for a new duo we had just started called Half an Orange."

"Ahipara Time 2018" is one song from the Album. It will be released December 31st and it is the result of writing, recording and producing another album in the smallest studio with very little equipment. Stefanie says: "We are experiencing the world a lot differently than most people. It's also quite an achievement to record in the wild. If you listen closely you can hear birds or other animals in the background or rain and wind. And because it's part of this journey I have recorded some of those sounds and you can hear them clearly on track No. 7  "Marvelous Coffee Time" at the end of the song. Most songs are inspired from feelings of love, peace and happiness.
