Garry Howden is a talented DJ from Scotland but now living in Florida U.S.A. He is well known for his beautifully crafted Progressive house mixes on his own Exile Deep show which airs on Saturo Sound, and he is also a resident DJ on Progressive House U.K. podcast shows. When Garry he put together a DNB guest mix for Lynsey's YANA show on Subcode Radio the conversation turned to their mutual love of the DnB sounds and inevitably they decided to follow these conversations up by putting their talents to good use and creating the Perspective Mix Series. 

This will be a bi-monthly series where they will both put a mix together and release each volume via Soundcloud and ultimately You Tube too. Future volumes will contain guest mixes too but for now Lynsey and Garry are kicking off this series. Enjoy 💜🙌🎶

The sixth in the Algorhythm series is a mix that encompasses a spectrum of the DnB and Jungle genres from the deeper and more ethereal sounds through to the moodier and darker sounds that the genres have to offer. The mix has been compiled as more of a soundscape than just a compilation of music and takes inspiration from a number of film scores across the genres of Sci-Fi and Horror. 2023!! What can I say.....You haven't been that kind to me.

So this year is the first Christmas in my entire life without my mum and dad who were taken from me  between March to October, my mum loved Christmas so this one really hurts. I'll be certainly looking forward to moving in to '24 and trying to find a new reality.

This mix starts deep, melancholy and reflective and pretty much sums up my mood, further in we change up and head in to a more uplifting progressive sound as we get ready for the new year :)
