This is the debut release from new UK Grime label "Flatblock Audio" with a compilation called "Sounds From The Block"

Vol.1 sets the standard of whats to come in the near future from Flatblock Audio as a brand new, organic and home grown grime label both sonically, thematically and also what is to come from the artists that the label represents.

showcasing that there is a new wave of sounds coming from the genre and that grime indeed does have longevity within the underground music space

we have welcomed both new and seasoned artists in onto this compilation from names such as C-Rank, KOROstyle & Moscow Legend who have all had massive acclaim and support from DJ's such as Slimzee, Spooky Bizzle, Sir Spyro & More, and have also featured on pioneering labels such as Slimzos Recordings

all the way over to some of the freshest names on the block like DES0 who just released an incredible project via our friends in Jah Tek, and Humph who has seen great success after becoming a fan favourite on DJ Big Mikee's DJ Edition of prizefighter.

All together we have made inclusivity, versatility and variety our biggest aims as a label, and we feel this debut compilation incapsulates it very well

For all the gigs I had to cancel recently, I had received so much warmth from people around and I'm really grateful for that, sometimes I think maybe that's why warm songs move me most.
