Hector Mechanics is a Filipino hardcore band and collaboration project formed in 2008 under the name Luminosity by a group of students from the University of the Philippines Diliman. The group utilized elements from various genres including post-hardcore, metalcore, progressive metal, electronica, alternative rock and pop rock. The group disbanded in 2015.
