Nicola Conte & Nico Lahs return with their eagerly awaited second EP, continuing the musical journey they began with their acclaimed 12” Macumba de Oxalà / La Danse De L’Esprit.

This new release confirms the creative synergy between two producers who speak the same musical language: a refined blend of spiritual jazz, Afro-American rhythms and electronic sensibility, designed for the most eclectic and sophisticated dancefloors. The Tema Due project is aimed at a refined club scene, attentive to the depth and purpose of sound. Once again, Conte and Lahs are turning the dance floor into a ritual space, where body and spirit move in harmony in a musical language that not only entertains but also elevates.

In this “EP2”, Nicola Conte and Nico Lahs collaborate for the first time with the talented young Brazilian percussionist Gabriel Prado and consolidate their long-standing partnership with pianist Pietro Lusso, who plays a fundamental role in shaping the musical identity of this work. Among the tracks, “Share Your Love” stands out in particular, interpreted by Brazilian singer Nina Miranda, who brings emotional depth to a track that talks about peace, sharing and love between peoples, and is enriched by the participation of Giovanni Guidi on Fender Rhodes and synths.

“EP2” precedes the release of Tema Due’s full-length album, which is currently taking shape – a work that promises to further consolidate the duo’s shared vision, expanding their conceptual and sonic scope. To crown this creative cycle, the album will also be followed by a third EP with additional unreleased tracks, symbolically closing a trilogy of sound and vision. A coherent, intense and uncompromising musical journey, where club culture meets spirituality and artistic exploration.

I know what makes you happy. I know a lot of things about you, things you might not even know.

But if you listen carefully. you might learn things that make you so happy, things that you knew all along but just didn’t realize were there.

For instance you might know about this enjoyable state, this wonderful trance where you get to relax so much and just let your mind be free for a bit.

But there are even more important things that are happening in trance, because this is more than just a trance, this is hypnosis.

Where you are taken into happiness by a wonderufl relaxing voice.

Some might say that hypnosis can teach you things, help you change aspects of yourself.

You know such sayings are silly.

Hypnosis isn’t about possibilities. It’s not a place where you can change.

It’s a place where you DO change. Where the words of hypnosis, the words of the voice, are a wondeful blissful reality to you.

I know that when you are hypnotized those instructions are just overpowering, that just no matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem to resist those instructions.

That even if your thoughts tell you that maybe you don’t want to follow those instructions, well your mind knows better than that.

It knows you’re going to obey no matter what you say. Your mind knows best, and in fact the mere act of obeying hypnosis fills you with happiness.

There’s no need to think about it so hard. What is suggested in hypnosis becomes your new reality, something that no matter your opinions of it just needs to be obeyed.

That obedience will become automatic.

Even if your mind disagrees, it wont be able to resist.

Your body, your actions will just follow along with what hypnosis has ordered you to do.

Even if you try to remember what was ordered, the words just skip out of your grasp, forgetting faster the more you try to rememeber, obeying faster the more you try to resist.

That’s just how it is for you. That’s just how it needs to be for you.

So you know it’s just how you need to act, and this obedience is so engrained in you that you find it spilling over into your deepest desires.

You love submitting to hypnosis, Love submitting to others.

All you know is that submission makes you so happy, obedience makes you so blissful that you really see no reason to do other wise.

You like obedience and you love that I’ve taught you how to obey and you love that I’ve given you this gift.

So now it’s almost time for you to leave this trance.
