Mike Jedlicka and Tim Westcott (wndfrm/cloudburst) performed live at PNCA in Portland, OR on 4/6/14 for SIX, a 6.1 surround sound event.

Mike played the OP-1 and guitar w/ a ditto x2 looper, grunge distortion, and H9 pedals.
Tim added field recordings, the beat, and processed the audio into surround sound.

Shining Cracks is an album inspired by a quote from Emil Cioran: “The moments of refinement conceal a death-principle: nothing is more fragile than subtlety.” , this album is a journey for seizing the “death-principle”, by “carving” the timbre, organization and texture of the sound. 

Chunyang Yao is a composer and electronic musician from Lijiang, China. She studied composing & composition theory at Music Conservatory of Shanghai. Her music is based on contemporary composition techniques and electronic noise aesthetics. In 2014, she launched her solo electronic music and voice performance project. 
  
One of Chunyang’s primary music field is the traditional music of the Nakhi, an ethnic group from Yunnan. As a Nakhi herself, she concentrates on exploring the possibilities of Nakhi traditional music and the phonetics of the Nakhi language. Nakhi music elements are extensively implemented in her music.

"散步" is a recording project during 2018 - 2019, in which I walked around in different cities and fields with my inductors, recording mind and sound fragments around me.
This track was recorded during residency in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, Japan hosted by Lijiang Studio with the fund of ACC. The recording location was at the beach near a highway.

"散步" is a recording project during 2018 - 2019, in which I walked around in different cities and fields with my inductors, recording mind and sound fragments around me.
This track was recorded during residency in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, Japan hosted by Lijiang Studio with the fund of ACC. 
This track was recorded on 靜川遺跡, a ruin of Jomon Culture which now are surrounded by high-voltage towers. My son cried during my recording (as shown in the cover), which gives the place a little vitality.
