Bound to the Vine am I.
It is Christ realized
As my rich pleasure, joy-fruit so sweet.
My dress is purified.
To God I'm justified.
I've right of the Vine now to eat.

Foolish thought 'tis indeed,
'From the Vine now be freed,"
For when gone all I taste is just vain.
Red are my eyes with wine
Teeth white with milk do shine,
If I with the vine would remain.

Oh! What a singular sweet rest!
Upon this fruit I'd ever dine!
To be restrained like this
A blessing surely is -
Abiding in bliss in the Vine.

The Vine you are to me!
And as of You I eat,
I grow with God. And thus onward press
To Your feast, Oh my King,
Daily embroidering
Your riches in my wedding dress.

The kingdom which will come
Will show rebellion's done
And vanquished all the sums
Of Your foes.
With scepter and with staff,
In peace You'll reign at last,
On earth and in Heaven - Shiloh.

Until You'd come, O gracious Lord,
Upon this fruit I'd ever dine!
To be restrained like this
A blessing surely is -
Abiding in bliss in the Vine!

I was pondering, why I felt this way
There’s an inner void, it just won’t go away
And no matter what I do, I can’t be satisfied
Cause nothing can quench the thirst I felt inside.

Whatever I did, whatever I tried,
I just felt so dissatisfied
And I just kept wondering why, my life’s so dry
Then as I watched, the days go by
All I could do is to grieve and sigh
Deep within me, I felt so sad
I want to cry.

But then one day, I started to touch
The living fount, and I loved it so much
Now I’m drinking, the water of life
All my thirst are quench, and I’m saved from strife.
I would never ever want to leave
The source of this flow
I’ll forever stay, and never will go.

All of the world, with all of its pride
Had left me so empty inside
I thought I knew, I had no clue,
They were untrue
All were in vain, nothing to gain,
Deep within me, I felt the pain
Now I do see, nothing will last ‘till eternity.

But then one day, I started to touch
The living fount, and I loved it so much
Now I’m drinking, the water of life

Christ’s the Spirit now, Who lives right in me
And He gives life abundantly
God will be pleased, when He increase
And I decrease
He’s dispensing, and He’s spreading
To every part of my being
I’m rejoicing, in His life now, 
I am growing.

O Lord, I pray, sanctify me all day
Fixed my eyes on You, You alone I’ll pursue
Keep me coming
To Your throne always
By Your Spirit live, through all of my days.
