Last Saturday, the ACEC building in Apeldoorn transformed into a pulsating universe of sound, light, and energy. During De Opening, Deep Circuit Electro Miners delivered a concert that shook the walls and lit up hearts. The audience was swept away on a sonic journey through glitchy rhythms, hypnotic visuals, and an atmosphere that hovered somewhere between rave and ritual.

To close this unforgettable evening, the group unveiled their latest creation: The Glob. A track that feels like a cosmic entity slowly coming to life—growing, pulsing, transforming. It’s the perfect fusion of their experimental roots and their love for the unexpected.

With members from London, Amsterdam, and Apeldoorn, Deep Circuit Electro Miners is more than a band—it’s a collective that creates music for the sheer joy of it, yet with a depth that lingers. Today marks a special moment in Bolting Bits history for us. We are now lucky enough to premiere a track from our very own - Igor Bezuglov! For those that do not know, Igor is one of the major pieces that keep our music blog running behind the scenes. But being a man of many talents, he has been working on his own productions the past few months to deliver us his first tune under his alias @igorbmusic.

Titled Ponteio (which means "bridge" in Portuguese), this song is the A-side of Igor's debut record Águas de Setembro that is set to come out on Peter Croce and Moonlighter's Detroit imprint Rocksteady Disco later this month. Throughout the piece, Igor utilizes the Brazilian original's rolling bassline, impromptu instrumentation, and bittersweet vocals to capture what everyone's feeling this time of year. Although many of us understand that cold months lay ahead, we are also eager to keep the good times going no matter what - and it's this palpable optimism that makes the song the perfect soundtrack as we transition from summer into autumn across the northern hemisphere.

Powering out across the open highways, House Of Disco, stick it in 5th gear for their 23rd outing that see’s the return of the mighty Fouk. Four funked up, disco house jams that are drenched in undeniable grooves, ‘80s synth gold and tight percussive touches.

The A side houses ‘Release The Kraken’ with it's pitch bent synthwork, juicy basslines and emphatic vocal touches from Thumpasaurus. Next up the signature Fouk sound is bottled up on ‘Night Shift’, marrying sweltering synths with hazy Rhodes, beefy bass and infectious drums.

Flip it over to find the walking bass badness and acid infused melodies of ‘Gloriole’, with ‘Arrakis’, a strutting summertime guitar-led jam full of choice chants, ‘80s fuzzy keys and bongo loops, taking the closing spot - the perfect way to round off this huge House Of Disco release.
