The Warehouse releases are our own label sampler series and with this first instalment we pay homage to our fellow countrymen with four tracks coming exclusively from Greece. 
 The one and only Axel Karakasis lets the games begin with the sinister workout that is &#8220;Pagan&#8221;, rolling things out with the bass coming down heavy and the mystical vibe going strong. Christian Cambas is up next with the trademarked galloping bassline and cheeky samples, only coming up for air during the apocalyptic breakdown. 
 G.Pal pushes the gears back with &#8220;Lush&#8221;, whipping out some tasty synth work and intricate percussion, while the crackling rhythm section stomps away amidst a misty haze. LFCs bring the affair to an end with haunting chords taking center stage, the sub-bass bubbling under the loopy drums and spacious effects setting the tone.

Joe Romano aka Dataworx has been producing electronic music under various aliases, for well over a decade and is based out of Canada. Several of his projects include: Dataworx, FPS and Solarscape including many others. After experimenting with various forms of music over the years, Dataworx has been his biggest success to date, which he began in 2007 and is best described as a blend of Techno / Tech House. One of his early collaborations: &#8220;Adam K &amp; Dataworx Pushin&#8221; released in the summer of 2007 instantly shot up the charts, hitting No.1 overall on Beatport. Moving into 2008, and continually tweaking and refining his sound Dataworx teamed up with Matteo DiMarr. The duo formed &#8220;FPS&#8221; and with only a handful of tracks, achieved massive support in the Techno / House scene, with: &#8220;FPS Mist / Fallout EP&#8221; released on Toolroom Records and remained at No.1 in Tech House on Beatport for over one month as well as reaching Top 10 on Trackitdown, DJ Download, Juno, etc&#8230; and the huge &#8220;Steve Mac &amp; Paul Harris You (FPS Remix)&#8221; which was a staple in the Beatport Top 10 overall chart, also reaching No.1 in Tech House and remained in the Top 100 for over six months!Clearly, things were heating up and in July 2008, Joe would achieve his biggest success to date: &#8220;Dataworx Control&#8221;. Following on from their Record Store Day ‘Looped EP’ release, which featured remixes by Dauwd and Lubomyr Melnyk, Kiasmos – made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – return with three new tracks and a remix by Tale Of Us.

Recorded in various locations including Reykjavík and Berlin, the EP opens with ‘Drawn’, a four-minute percussion fuelled track with gentle piano motifs. ‘Gaunt’ features the addition of ambient synths and a drum loop, underpinned by slow-moving chords. Title track ‘Swept’ which the duo offered to fans as a surprise gift in form of a free download card at previous show dates, showcases a more club-oriented beat structure alongside Kiasmos’ signature emotive instrumentation. 
 
Closing the EP is a remix from Berlin-based duo Tale of Us who met Kiasmos in London and twist the original downbeat title track
into their distinctively dark aesthetic. Pulsating hats and a driving bass loop add pace as the track builds toward an epic breakdown.

The ‘Swept EP’ will be released on 12”/DL via Erased Tapes on November 20th, 2015.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!
