Aplexo returns to Purified Records with his dynamic Space EP, following his August-released two-tracker, Faces. The title track, Space, combines pulsating, textured basslines with shimmering, fractured synths and a delicate, ethereal female vocal, crafting a track that feels both expansive and intimate. On the flip, Eye delves into deeper, more hypnotic territory, with soaring melodic synths and resonant, atmospheric layers that draw listeners into a contemplative, trance-infused soundscape. Highlighting Aplexos talent for blending emotive vocals with forward-thinking production, the Space EP cements his reputation for crafting immersive, boundary-pushing electronic music. The Space EP artwork is a photograph taken by Jan Erik Waider at Hoffellsjökull glacial lagoon in Iceland, which is part of Vatnajökull National Park. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us. Frozen regions store nearly 70\%\% of the worlds freshwater and play a crucial role in regulating global climate. The International Association of Cryospheric Sciences (IACS) supports research on glaciers, snow, sea ice, and permafrost to better understand and protect these vital systems.
