We’ve been crafting beats and stirring up chaos since 1999—because why not? Life’s too short to be boring.

Born in the neon glow of the 80s, we were raised on a diet of moonwalks, epic synths, and grooves that never quit. Michael Jackson was the king, Depeche Mode hypnotized us, and Prince taught us that being different was the secret sauce. But that was just the beginning of our sonic education.

The 90s rolled in, and everything changed. Tübingen’s Depot, Stuttgart’s legendary M1, and late-night radio shows like Midnight House on Antenne 1 ignited a fire in us. Then came Daft Punk. Oh man, Daft Punk! They didn’t just raise the bar—they flipped it upside down, set it on fire, and threw a party around it. When we heard them for the first time, we said, "That’s it. We’re throwing a party, spinning these tracks, and making sure everyone feels what we just felt."

For us, it’s always been about more than just the music—it’s about moments. It’s about feeling alive, connecting with the crowd, and losing yourself in the madness. That’s how Freaks on a Plane was born.

Andi and Thomas share that rare connection where they’re perfectly in sync—like two surfers catching the same wave. It’s been 24 years of shared highs, lows, and the occasional wipeout. Picture two players on the same team, not fighting over the controller, but strategizing the perfect combo or hunting down the best items to level up. That’s their vibe.
Their CV? Oh, it’s stacked. Venues, events, festivals—you name it, they’ve probably rocked the decks there. These days, their sets are like a thrilling novel or a blockbuster movie: full of twists, turns, and unexpected drops. But one thing stays constant—the groove. Their music is always built around the energy of the room, driving the dancefloor wild while keeping things fresh with those unpredictable moments that make you smile and wonder what’s coming next.
When it comes to production, Andi and Thomas believe in simplicity and freedom—no rules, just vibes. "At the end of the day, we’re making music for the dancefloor and for ourselves." Simple, but true.
In 2018, they took things up a notch by launching Summiteers & Trumpets, their record label that’s become a home for artists pushing the boundaries of eclectic dance sounds. Because, honestly, who wants to wait months for new music or settle for one style when you can have them all?
