We came a long way to this but here we are. Despite us being in the electronic noise business for over 15 years, our project and Soundcloud podcasts CIARKI has been around for only 2 years and finally has earned its first stamp as a record label. 

We’re proud to present you a compilation of 9 tracks, coming from a great bunch of new Polish artists. This is a journey through many shapes and colours of bass, rave, garage and techno heaters. It is a compact reflection of what music background we came from and what we’re like to listen, play every 2 weeks in our podcast or at the parties, and wish to explore further in the future. 

Our initial mission was and still is to promote future sound of bass music, ranging from 120 to 170 bpm. We’re hoping that this first release will bring more attention to Polish producers and its scene. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of international connections between similar, passionate heads around the globe. 

For those who are not familiar with an old, Polish cartoon of our childhood - The black cat’s name on the cover is Bonifacy. He is the first real grumpy cat and he wish to encourage you to download, play and spread the word about our first and completely free release. Enjoy!

Nashville-based producer @jasoncode makes his Scuffed Recordings debut with a three-track EP of high-octane, freewheeling bass and club music.

Originally hailing from Seattle, Jason has become a fixture in the Tennessee dance community in the past ten years as part of the Terminal 8 crew, booking acts like Nikki Nair, ELISE, Kush Jones, and Leonce among others.

Following a string of self-released projects in 2020, Jason brings his unique style to Scuffed, incorporating elements of breaks, bass, UK garage, and more.

Opening with the title track, ‘HOT!’ sees Jason contrast bouncing chords and gleeful vocal samples with a lurching bass drop and clattering breaks.

‘City 17’ ups the tempo with wonky arpeggios veering over a fierce kick drum, and eventually developing into a shuffling, speed garage-esque beat.

‘Decisions’ closes out the release, jumping between eerie vocals, pounding kicks and skittish breaks to further build on Jason’s signature sound.

After a successful launch in January this year, Nu KVLTURE is back with a second part of the Various Artists Compilation Series “VOL.2”.   
40 Artists from all the cross the globe, nu- comeres and og's from the first release, stand together united in all things bass & breaks with BPM ranging from 100 to 170. Expect even more flavours, with the most wanted dubplates who ended up in mixes by established artists such as LCY, A.Fruit, Sun People, Gremlinz and many others who played them 
from Boiler room to Rinse Fm. Artwork is once again done by talented Sofija Milosevic.

Manchester based producer DJ Soyboi isn’t approaching Not Bad For a Girl’s first EP “Big Bally Beats 001” lightly. Their track “Reticulated” is a beautifully crafted progressive 170bpm track that takes us on a high-tempo journey through what Soyboi describes as “snake inspired Dnb”.

As shown on this track, DJ Soyboi has definitely solidified their own sound within the jungle genre. Combining both the darker realms of jungle with their recent release “Brainsticker / Chainsplitter” with chicago inspired footwork, they have definitely set the bar high in terms of production. Soyboi has had a successful year with support from heads such as LCY, India Jordan & VTSS as well as the incredible success of their new club night “Tough Act”, and we are sure their success will not stop here!

Manchester's favourite collective Not Bad For A Girl are making their Label debut with Big Bally Beats 001 - a compilation of Manchester's most hyped women & non-binary producers with all proceeds going to local charity @brightersound. The tracks in the compilation are a super eclectic collection of genres and moods, from dancefloor-ready 160, to lush breaks, to punchy, syncopated GQOM, floaty, vibrant house and more.

Brighter Sound is a creative music charity. Rooted in the North of England, they change the lives of individuals through music, support and promote diverse talent and act as a catalyst for change in the music sector, from education to industry.

To switch it up a little from the usual, we’re moving away from our recent UKG mixes this week to bring a wild genre mashup from the man like @nova_cheq 🔥 

Nova Cheq has come through with a heavy 100 - 130 mix that moves through multiple sonics and levels of energy. The selections move from industrial to grime, to dancehall and funky. Plus with a few wild cards throw into the bag, this one is unlike anything we’ve dropped before. As always with SOLITUDE mixes, there’s a few unreleased tunes here. This time from @djspit.to’s label @rascals_030. Expect these tracks to get pressed with @hardwax_official as well. Mark of quality each and every time. 

He’s an artist who resides in the more hardcore side of the scene, capable of brewing up proper party fuel. Legit his sets are always fuckin wild. Not often for the faint hearted, his music transcends most style brackets and is often a representation of his musical influences over the years, with nods to the original 90’s rave scene, jungle, breaks and techno.

Deffo check his release that just dropped on @sherelle_ & @naina_ldn’s label @hooversoundrec. It’s a combined force with @samurai_breaks. Five outrageously good pieces of work referred to as “Pure Party Fuel, Ghetto House Styled Jungle-Juke Pounders” - these one will smash up the dance 100% 

He’s also had a solo release on Hoover Sound that dropped in May last year. Absolutely worth checking, 5 more stompers with the title track FUK.GOV.UK doing what it says on the tin in hard dance party music format 🔥
