Em Janeiro de 2018, Thito apresentou a primeira edição de sua compilação anual com 19 faixas originais. Agora em 2019, ‘Evolution II’ apresenta 28 faixas originais, reunindo novos talentos descobertos ao lado de artistas já consagrados. Um lançamento consistente que define os rumos da gravadora para o ano que segue, pautado em sonoridades profundamente hipnóticas e energéticas. Every turn of the year brings with it a pleasant process of self-criticism, and today we can affirm that Prisma Techno goes through a moment of expansion and evolution. In recent months, we have achieved goals that seemed more like dreams, we have strengthened our connection with artists and we have ratified our positioning in the national and international scene.  All this passes through the present and always passionate look of Thito Fabres, Prisma's A&R and mind behind our new release, 'Evolution II' VA.

Last year, in January, Thito presented the first edition of his annual compilation with 19 original tracks. Now, in 2019, 'Evolution II' features 28 original tracks, bringing together new talents discovered alongside established artists. A consistent release that sets the record company's course for the year to come, based on deeply hypnotic and energetic sounds. Raphael Mader taucht unseren Verstand in einen pastellfarbenen Nebel der Sehnsucht und füllt unsere Herzen mit dem bittersüßen Trank der Melancholie. Die Musik auf seiner Hidden Secret EP holt uns in Form einer melodiösen Wärme ab, die unwillkürlich durch Mark und Bein geht. Im Titel Endless Loss wird dieser Effekt durch die emotionale Magie der menschlichen Stimme verstärkt, in den Tracks Vacuity und Hidden Secret wird der Verlauf der Reise durch synthetische Eleganz und rollenden Bassdruck bestimmt. Auf diese Weise erzeugt Raphael Mader eine vielseitige Variation der eingangs erwähnten Grundstimmung. Hinzu kommen gleich vier verschiedene Remixes, die das atmosphärische Spektrum nochmals deutlich erweitern – von lässigem Auftrieb bis trancig angehauchtem Tiefensog.

Raphael Mader wraps our consciousness into a pastel-colored fog that is an intense feeling of longing and fills our hearts with the bittersweet potion of melancholy. The music on his Hidden Secret EP draws its compelling power from a melodic warmth that has almost the quality of a physical force. The title Endless Loss uses the emotional undertow of a human voice to enhance this effect even more, whereas the tracks Vacuity and Hidden Secret take us on a journey full of synthetic elegance and bass boost. In this way Raphael Mader creates a sophisticated variation of the mood described in the beginning. Additionally, there's four different remixes that expand the spectrum even further - from casual uplift to trancy deepness.

After a murderous end of year season, label head honcho Rob Hes, locked down the studio and departed to spiritual Thailand for some unwinding and soul searching. While recharging both physically for the next season, Rob also found himself reloaded with tons of inspiration in his own productions. 

The food, the people and the weather of this country bring out the best in you. Soul Survivor brings deep melodic grooves that did wonders at the late night full moon raves on the beach. Switching gears and stepping up the tempo is the modulating mayhem called Fallen Idols. Grooving stabs pound their way into you membrame.

Swedish DJ/Producer Christian Nielsen debuts on Maceo Plex's Ellum imprint with the ‘Love Struck’ EP this May.

The four track EP continues a strong start to 2020 with releases from Raxon and Avision and, true to the label’s form, is all about weighty, characterful cuts from Nielsen, an artist who has previously chalked up releases for the likes of Kompakt, Of Unsound Mind and Play it Down.

The titular opener of ‘Love Struck’ is a swaggering, low slung affair with a growling bassline underpinning a pitch shifted vocal refrain and piercing rave stabs - a mutant beast which fuses techno, Garage and rave aesthetics in anthemic style. The skeletal rhythms and gritty acid flair of ‘For Myself’ follow in a track that, through some nifty builds, manages to pull off a big room energy as much as it does a basement vibe. ’Switch’ is next up and, with a rock solid groove, vocal sample and subaquatic tones, displays just how well Nielsen can create a monster with few elements. The heaviest track, ‘Pulse’, rounds off ‘Love Struck’ with a huge, padding kick drum and resonant percussive lead doing the heavy lifting while counterpointed by judiciously employed warm, cossetting jazz flute licks
