Welcome to the reference number 16 of Cicuta Netlabel. We started 2013 with a slight delay, but the wait will certainly worthwhile. For us it is a very encouraging new year, in which we expect the crisis that our country drowns give way to optimism and good feelings.

We decided to open the course to becoming one of the emerging centers of techno patriotic, Sevilla. There we met The Thinker, talented young willing to put a dent in the Spanish electronic scene.

With its "Age Of Machines" presents 4 cutting-edge techno, intelligent techno for open minds. Far from heavy drums which are collapsing the international techno scene, he opted by futuristic sounds and synths with Detroit touches that certainly satisfy the most demanding palates.

As for the remixers, we wanted to have a well know friend, Mr. Hyo from Burgos brings more personal version of the song "World Revolution". His music does not need much introduction, but it is the first time you hear it, his handling of the atmospheres and rhythms deviled seduce you from the first play.

Finally, from Drugstore we did not want to lose the chance to remix one of the tracks, in this case, we offer our own version of the track "The Automaton". This time, less forceful and more mental than in the past, we hope you enjoy this new (or different) face.

CICUTA 016 - The Thinker - Age Of Machines EP (with Hyo & Drugstore Remixes)

Cicuta Netlabel is a project focused on bringing quality techno music throughout the world, for free, without prejudice. Our differentiator is that we want to have well-known artists, those that are not typically seen in the netaudio scene, and combining its proven quality with talent and drive of those artists who are growing and only need the world to discover their work to seduce.

Our intention is to publish a monthly EP. These EPs will always be licensed under Creative Commons, and will can be downloaded for free from archive.org.

To complement the aforementioned, we also want to have the best mixers of the techno scene, providing a monthly podcast to all our supporters.

What kind of music can you expect on our releases/podcast? The response is TECHNO, in upper case, and with several shades: dark, hard, industryal, melodic,…. We don’t want to lock ourselves in a unique style. If its techno, and we like it, we will publish it.
