Both respected players of progressive scene, Cid Inc and Dmitry Molosh have enjoyed exciting careers. Producer, DJ and Mastering Engineer, Swedish powerhouse, Cid Inc has releases on a whos who of labels and has played at all the leading clubs and festivals. Equally, Belarusian pioneer Dmitry has been trailblazing for nearly a decade and continues to have a gig diary taking him around the world. 

Opening with the title track, 'Impending Storm', the pairs unique influences find a perfect middle ground in subtle tribal drumwork. Gathering pace slowly over the first half with some nuanced layering, the track really fires off as the main break hits. With tension building throughout, the second half is trademark peak time. 

Next up, 'Coalition' takes a deeper path. Twinkling arps and rising pads draw you in as the percussive underbelly becomes more pronounced. Proper journey prog, the sonic tale they unfold keeps you hooked until the final beat. Finally, Dutch favorite, Navar reimagines 'Impending Storm'. Sub heavy drums and a skippy percussion framework clever sonic reconstruction, as Navar takes us down a dark, late night trail full of dirty synths and grimey intentions.

'Already an iconic figure in the underground dance fraternity, Dmitry Molosh now takes another leap forward with the creation of his Proportion record label. Created as vehicle to showcase the Belarusian’s extraordinary talent alongside an array of high-profile and rising names, Proportion launches with an eponymously titled EP with an original track from Dmitry himself plus a remix from Finnish legend, Cid Inc.

Dmitry Molosh has presided over a stellar career path. Rising rapidly to global prominence from his Belarus home, Dmitry has witnessed a steep upwards trajectory where his music has reached out across nation boundaries, engaging listeners with a distinctive, powerful and forward-thinking sound. Over 500 production credits can thus be credited to the Dmitry Molosh name as he continues to find his musical talents in considerable demand. Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Gai Barone’s Afterglow, Nick Warren’s Hope and Cid Inc.’s Replug have all showcased the Belarusian’s distinctive sound, while US leviathan Proton Music has also featured an array of original and remix material. Supported by the DJ glitterati that include Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Khen, alongside the celebrated label heads, Dmitry Molosh now opens his account on Proportion.

The title track of the same name is a stunning affair. Redolent in the trademark characteristics that have made him such a sought-after producer, a chest-thumping kick anchors a glorious, head-shaking bass groove and woodblock percussion. Ticking hi-hats add to the collage as a beautifully imagined synth motif filters its way across the 8-minute piece. A further bassline adds weight and dynamism before a stripped back breakdown creates a gateway for a rousing crescendo of white-noise and pitched effects. These then pave the way for the sultry bassline cadence and synth line so prominent in the early stages, to work their magic once more in the second half.

Cid Inc. require little introduction to the underground dance faithful. A legendary figure for two decades, the Finnish star has been responsible for entertaining audiences around the world with his immaculately crafted DJ sets while creating some the finest moments in modern electronic music history. Seeing his work featured on legion luminary imprints that includes the likes Lost & Found, Einmusika JEE Productions and Sudbeat Music, the latter saw Dmitry Molosh & Cid Inc. join forces on August 2021’s “Impending Storm” to devastating effect. Cid Inc.’s own Replug label has also been a potent vehicle for his own music while furthering the musical careers of a plethora of other artists who have gone on to become dominant forces in the global dance music arena.

An esteemed music engineer and renowned producer, the Cid Inc. remix of “Proportion” is characterised by an intricate and dynamic percussive groove that propels the track forward. Accompanied by a hypnotic bassline sequence and similarly mesmerising arpeggio, melodic elements for the original ripple to the fore in a sublime atmospheric collage. The 31st release on Replug Records sees label boss Cid Inc. returning for a brand new EP. Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc. is now in what promises to be the most essential year of his storied production career. With forthcoming releases scheduled on Anjunadeep, Sudbeat and Lost & Found Cid Inc. is set to unveil some of the most cutting edge music to ever come out of his studio. His new double A-side offering on Replug should be more than enough to his tide fans over as it offers two selections which have featured heavily in his sets over recent months.
'Seeker' leads the release off with an funky, energetic approach that is both fresh and inspiring. Cid Inc's undulating waves of bass combined with seductive melodic hooks and alluring sheets of noise make for a powerful first act. The bounce and drive are sure to be brilliant on the dance floor and carry the piece to the main break with ease.  The filtered down middle portion maintains the killer groove all while delivering some palatable tension. As the modulation reaches a fiery peak the swirling atmospheres get washed away as the infectious groove reappears for a charged finale. 

Diehard Cid Inc. fans have been calling for the release of 'Darpa' for quite some time and at long last it is available here. With it being a prominent element of the Swedish producer's sets in recent months the track has generated some much deserved attention from the electronic music underground.  All Cid Inc. grooves are meticulously crafted and carved to perfection but 'Darpa' may be one of Henri's most powerful studio compositions to date.  The elastic-like bass stabs are adorned with a lovely acidic quality and make up the tracks energetic foundation. As the momentous rhythms build through the records first half waves of percussion, metallic hits and trippy electronics not only assault your senses but add a charging intensity to the tracks already impressive hypnotic swing. The main break is set for total dance floor exhilaration with a slow rolling wall of drum modulation adding the ultimate apex before the irresistible groove drops back in for a huge payoff.

After having released a track on "Sudbeats Vol. 2", the always consistent Cid Inc makes his long over due Sudbeat solo release.

"Temazcal" is a groovy little number, deep and chunky and full of swagger. The muted bass sounds encapsulate your mind, before a luscious soundscape unfurls as the dreamy tinkles cascade like a warm blanket of sound. The combination of these elements generates a mystical hazy feeling of beauty, and is mesmerising.

"Response" is a hypnotising and warm, subtly layered gem. This is a masterpiece for the mind as it crystal clear production leaps out at you, creating an almost 3D vortex of sound, and all the while, the track is gently building creating tension and atmosphere as it meanders effortlessly and beautifully as a perfect dance floor moment.

And the already known ‘Fragile Circle’ closes the package. This track doesn’t need much of an introduction, as it was one of the gems included in the outstanding Hernan Cattaneo’s Balance and has been played by Hernan himself all over the world during the album tour.

Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon team up for a rare collaboration on Darin’s influential label Perspectives. The track has been a staple in both their sets as well as long-time supporters Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, the latter of which featured ‘Outliers’ in his September Top 10 and Resident radio show.

The original is a powerful slab of tastiness. Its ballsy vibe creates tension as subtle acidic lines meet spacious melodics, gelling beautifully to create a seriously cool atmosphere. The track builds, encapsulating the listener in its magical spell, toughening throughout and making this a surefire monster for the dancefloor.

On remix duties is the uber cool Petar Dundov, who makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet, and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original, and daring producers in electronica. With the likes of Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.

His rework utilizes the original elements and forms an encapsulating soundscape. Petar allows the sounds to dominate their own space and develops the tension superbly as it glides you effortlessly into a driving workout.

Also adding to this package further down the line, Perspectives will be running its first ever remix contest for aspiring producers around the world to compete for a chance at signing with North America’s premier label for Progressive House, Deep House, and Tech House. The winner will have the prestigious honor of releasing his/her winning remix alongside three world renowned producers.

An uncompromising passion for a contemporary, cutting edge sound is what Cid Inc brings to electronic music. Swedish producer Henri aka Cid Inc began his journey into music production in the early 1990s. Based in his home of Sweden, and soon after relocating to Finland, Cid Inc always had an affinity for cutting edge electronics. It’s an enthusiasm that ultimately led him to electronic dance music - and more specifically, house and techno. Henri always aimed for an innovative approach to his studio work and it was that very trait that led to the birth of Mashtronic in 2004. But, it was the formation of Cid Inc in 2008 which really saw his career go into overdrive, a moniker which has seen him release on the world’s best labels, which includes Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, microCastle, Natura Sonoris and, Sudbeat. The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc back for his third appearance. 2019 proved to be another year of successes for the Finnish artist and Replug label boss. The March release of his well received ‘Via Karela’ EP got the year underway, setting the stage for contributions to Hernan Catteneo’s ‘Balance Presents Sunsetstrip’ compilation and the Armadillo Records ‘Fields, Vol. 1’ collection. October then saw Henri commemorate Replug’s ten-year anniversary with the Orsen collaboration ‘Ten’, before returning to Guy J’s Lost and Found Records with a chart-topping remix of Kasper Koman’s ‘Hi’ to round the year out in style. The beginning of 2020 has been equally inspired, with remixes for Beat Boutique and Einmusika, along with the March release of his acclaimed ‘Citadel’ EP. Having delivered his remake of James Holden’s ‘A Break In The Clouds’ to our series in 2018, Cid Inc now returns with his much requested edit of The Beloved ‘Sweet Harmony’ (Kosmas Epsilon & Zorz 'Northern People' Bootleg Mix). Released in 2004 as a white label only, the track proved impactful, earning play from a broad spectrum of A-list Djs and firmly etching its place in the history of progressive music. Long a favourite of Cid Inc, the Replug boss took to re-editing the classic last year, resulting in months of play from Hernan Cattaneo. Now after much demand we’re happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. We hope you enjoy it.
