Gladiocast #25 - Uranio Empobrecido

A-Tweed is the moniker of Ant De Oto, Italian dj/producer based in Rome. His music is an essential smoothie of acid weird downbeats, dark electronics, EBM, cosmic disco, electro, tribal techno and goodies of global music at 360 °. His DJ sets have no bpm limits, ranging from slow lysergic and industrial rhythms to UK-style tribal breaks. In 2020/2021 he released on the French label Hard Fist and on the Argentine Playground Records, with remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue, Pigmalião and Fabrizio Mammarella, among others.
New music out in 2022 via Feines Tier (Germany), SABI (Japan), Electric Shapes (Lithuania), Duro (Mexico), Inside Out (UK) and many more, including remixes by Carrot Green, Lucas Croon, CAIN, etc.
He is resident with his "Coal & Ash Circuit" show on Radio Alhara (Bethlehem, Palestine).
A-Tweed also has two sides projects like the tribal techno duo OBLAKO MARANTA with the Russian producer Andrey Redkov from Radial Gaze and A-TWEED X OLTREFUTURO with italian producer and sound engineer Valerio Ebert, focusing on weird slow beats and acid wonky techno out on Fauna Rêve and Multi Culti.
A new collaboration with Mozambican artist Nandele was released in April 2023 via the infamous techno label TRESOR.

For the 2nd episode of Corpo Tapes, we have invited B1980, an alias for renowned Belgian producer and musician Bert Libeert.

With his live EBM/techno project, B1980 brings the raw emotions and spontaneity of live electronic music, armed with just two synthesizers and two drum machines.

His signature sound breathes organic and atmospheric recordings combined with an attitude and rawness of EBM-style techno. Influenced by ‘New Beat’ and Belgian bands like Front 242, his mission is to continue the Belgian Sound, but in his own unique way.

Having a deep passion for intertwining Occult Wisdom into his music, SOLëM looks to create powerful tools for the dance floor with the intention go deep within and embrace our shadow, as darkness is one with the light, "Everything is dual and has its poles : Opposites are identical in nature, but different in Degree".

SOLëM's sound can best be described as a Rumbling mass of sound, Evolving through a thick fog that rests over the fringes of what is perceived as techno.

With a major focus on Drones and Atmospheres that weave through each other as eerie textures convolute their way through the thick fog that eventually engulfs them. He seeks to convey the Depth of his emotional state through intelligent and unique sound design, always looking to create music that is timeless rather than trendy
