  Myths lie flayed.
 Thoughts implode
 Skulls decayed.
Thoughts once whole
 Now twist and scream
 a mind undone,
 Betrayed by dream.
The void persists
 a hollow face.
 No wrath, no love,
 just endless space.
Hope was a trap
 with teeth beneath.
 Faith was rot
 Wrapped in grief.
We begged the sky,
 it did not speak.
 Its silence bled
 down battered cheek.
Truth was cinder,
 soft and vile.
 It burned, then laughed
 At our thoughts of denial.
We rise in pain,
 but nothing calls.
 No light, no end
 Deeper we fall.
of  grinding dark,
 of burning call.
 We wake in screams
 then start to fall.
There is no cause,
 No voice, no sign.
 The questions fade,
 Unmet by time.
What god could bear
 This endless night?
 No stars remain,
 No hint of light.
