this was a fun episode.  Do you think mindfuck movies would fall under this category or would that be a separate thing? 

I'm just starting the episode but I swear, if Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer don't get a mention, I'll be mad.

Castor and Pollux - named after the gods who make up the constellation Gemini.  I think they're trying to say that Archer needs to take out both, not just Castor

It's not cooked by the prison staff, it's brought in from the restaurant ready to eat.  Also I believe he kills his cell mate with the spork he's given to eat

Inherent Vice (and Under the Silver Lake) are happy places for me. Its all about the mood and the weirdness

I agree with you guys on a lot of things and I disagree on a lot of things, but nothing is quite as baffling as your enthusiasm for Southland Tales. Nothing has ever made me stare at the screen wondering "what in the FUCK am I watching" in the worst possible way quite like that movie (so it definitely belongs in this discussion at least).. And I'm sorry to Chris, but I just don't understand at all what he means when he says that this is the movie where Dwayne Johnson became an actor or whatever. He's absolutely terrible.

Regarding counselling being hard at times, I think an important thing to realise is that, as my counsellor says, "the pain is a piece of piss (there's a good Aussie saying for you), it's the fear of the pain that gets you." 

Just watched the trailer for Southland Tales, and even that's like WTF?! Are all these scenes from the same movie?!

This is the episode that made me unsubscribe. I've been listening since day 1 but these ads are frustrating when I'm driving. I can't skip them and they're of unknown length so I can't scrub forward. Too many ads for 1 episode.
