***The stunning debut album from Fractal Architect**

Featuring collaborations with Daniela Rhodes, juSt b and Ren Faye.

On the 19th October 2017 an astronomer at an observatory in Hawaii was looking into deep space when he saw something unusual. Through the lens of his telescope he saw an object that didn’t behave like anything he had ever seen before. 

It was travelling very fast and was following no recognised orbit. It soon became clear that this object had originated from an unimaginably distant place in the depths of interstellar space, far beyond our solar system.

Some members of the astronomy community began to postulate that this strange object might be something other than just a comet, maybe this object was a visitor from a distant world?

The object was named ‘Oumuamua after the Hawaiian for ‘Scout’

I wonder what a visitor from a distant civilisation might think of our planet, our world. How would they view the custodians of this unique and beautiful place? 

How would they view greed and short term thinking that is destroying the planet, how would they view war, poverty, drought and famine? All of these things are avoidable, but the masses always suffer at the hands of the few who would rather build fortunes they could never spend. 

This collection of songs were written over the last two years, set against the backdrop of unprecedented upheaval and global challenges. Sadness and joy, darkness and light, each song is a chapter in the story of how we have arrived at this point in time and space, and where we might be headed in the future.

Arshavir Makhmuryan, known MakhmuriaN Born and raised in Yerevan, MakhmuriaN began his DJ journey in 2015, developing his skills in the vibrant city's music scene. He took his passion a step further by forming the Doperfect duo in 2017, before choosing to ride solo under his distinctive pseudonym. MakhmuriaN’s music is a kaleidoscope of sound, bridging the gap between melodic Progressive House and Melodic House . This wide spectrum of sound was first showcased to the world in his 2019 release, "Outbreak". Driven by innovation, he launched the “Dialogue of Sounds” label in 2020, a platform that specializes in melodic roads. On “Candyflip”, the third sneak peek of his forthcoming “Trip to Sanity” album, Oliver Koletzki shifts gear and puts the pedal to the metal. The EP’s title track is pure forward momentum with its neon synth euphoria that rushes over a muscular body, generously pairing menacing bass with percussive storytelling. Next up, the arppaggio-driven “Mantra for Bora” settles somewhere between Psy-Tech and Italo, craftily working tropes of both into a climax of total dissolution. No matter the elements, one thing’s clear – Koletzki is ready to overtake. “Chasing Holes” then literally flips the candy on its head, taking off on auto-pilot, fueled by flamenco guitar licks and funky hand drums a-top a strong house groove. Cinematique was found in the beginning of 2010 by Robin de Lange also known by some of his friends as the 'Manual Driver' for driving Manual Music artists around the country to their gigs. The label started as a Manual distribution label first and has become an official sister label of Manual Music since 1 January 2012.

Cinematique presents itselves as the widescreen of electronic music. It explores the boundaries from house to techno and everything in between. Cinematique offers a platform for open minded producers, known and unknown, who wants to spread their music into this universe. The label will have a strong focus on creativity, originality, danceability and diversity. 

Cinematique is sometimes edgy, sometimes dreamy, sometimes naughty, but never boring. Releases have been supported by the likes of James Holden, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier, Orde Meikle, Dr. Motte and many more.
