I've been itching to cover a symfonikev song for years. His original Mega Man-style tunes were one of my biggest inspirations for getting started in chiptune, and he's still putting out new music to this day.

“Starlight Ascension” is my take on uplifting trance. Big supersaws, a rolling 138 BPM groove, and a melody that feels like chasing the sunrise. This one was inspired by the old Tiësto era and the kind of emotional, euphoric trance that got me into producing in the first place.

The goal was simple: make something that feels hopeful, wide, and cinematic while still hitting with festival energy. I hope it takes you somewhere.

So I've been working on this for a little bit during spare time here and there, now I have a viable FL setup again, and.. I have no idea what I want to do with it. I'm happy with this part, but the problem with Sky Base is it's so short. 

I've tried tying in some other tracks here, like Sonic 2 GG's boss music, but.. I dunno. I want something that's not going to take it over either(!)
