Benjamin Joseph arrives at the Circa Groove imprint ready to unleash his highly anticipated 'Evolution of Sound' EP that further establishes his position as a rising star. The 6 track groove-laden EP is expansive and perfectly primed for the dance floor - it hosts 4 tracks from Benjamin himself alongside 2 remixes Red Meat Therapy as well as the esteemed and elusive Vlad Arapasu.

The EP kicks off with Evolution of Time on A1. Boasting Benjamin's signature grooves, the track is infectious and laced with wayward synth lines as well as a monstrous rolling bassline. The filtered speech samples in this track create a psychotropic build-up as the track rises and falls, an intricate balance between killer percussion and spaced-out moments.

This is followed up by 3 refined minimal hits; Bundle, Sneaky, and Roll On. 'Bundle' comes complete with bubbling off-center grooves that are impossible not to move to. It plays on those more mellow moments, with deep and nostalgic synth sounds flexing a hefty sonic range. 'Sneaky' and 'Roll On' provide a more pensive and hypnotic vibe to the EP, teamed with chunky shuffling grooves.

A touch of class from Red Meat Therapy on the remix of 'Evolution of Time', the rework can only be described as a raw, mind-tripping groove. The final number on the EP is new material from the ineffable Vlad Arapasu with his remix of Roll On. In signature style, the track is flipped instantly into a recognisable shimmering rendition, a cocktail of minimalism and power that will lend itself to the peak-time or the after-hours.

The Ibiza-based record store and label continue a fine curation that has been a frequent face within our premieres. Scouting a variety of producers within the stripped-back domains, the label has formed an identity within sultry club music.

Crihan, Triptil, and Vincentiulian are among the label's roster, contributing to an identity that is shaped equally by the minimalist movement, as much as the tranquil nature of the White Isle. Increasing its global presence, the Brazilian label Elevation Music Records discloses its second International V.A. - 'The Elevation Comp Vol. 2' with 17 tracks translating the diversity of what is happening in the dance floors throughout the world.

The music selection included 29 artists who, together, represent the contemporary dance music art of Africa, North America, South America, Asia and Europe.
