This is a recording of the hypnotic downtempo intro from my 5 hour set @ The Viper Room, Hollywood CA, Friday 5/19/2017.  After I got the weekly residency we named the partyseries "GrindHouse", we were projecting cuts of favorite weird Seventies movies as a backdrop to my sets on one of the clubwalls....Stylish 70ties Italian and HongKong cinema - Giallos, Leone, Shaw Brothers, Barbarella, you name it.... :D Ritual vibes. Crazy, weird, epic memories, the place is legend.

A bit of a switch up from my last mix, which was more up-beat and Sun-lit, on this New Moon our journey here brings us much nearer to the ground - opening us to the indigenous echo’s that have sang and made music for mystical and healing purposes throughout the globe since the dawn of humanity.

In the Northern hemisphere the Winter is now here, and before it is fully time to reach up for the sky again, we must first find sanctuary in the internal space within us; And it is my deep expirience and belief that the main challenge we as a species must now work through on our path towards the ascension our hearts all long for, is a spiritual illness of sorts - one which only a collective soul retrieval can cure. 

And for that, we need a Medicine that goes deeper then that which modern western culture offers us to cover up and tend to the surface level symptoms. For this resurrection of our deepest inner-most beings, we need to look to those still living in harmony with the ways of nature: knowing medicine as a way of life, and how every thought, word, song, and element of nature can be utilized as an ally for healing purposes.

Despite the timeless wisdom seeded in our conscious connection to nature having long been stepped upon in the construction of the mechanical western worldview, today, a resurrection of the Modern Mystic long prophecized by indigenous tribes from all corners of the earth is now transpiring even amidst the most unlikely of places. This uprise of beings of all colors, ages, and backgrounds is set out not for a revolution per-say, but rather for an Evolution from a place of fight and resistance, to one of the warrior-hood of deep love that will bring balance and awareness to the electronic empire currently taking with no remorse in its quest to produce the false connection it kill's the true heart of in the process. And yet each day, more of us are awakening and rising to the calls and cries of the earth and of the collective heart of her inhabitants, begging us now as one to remember where and who we are, and what it is we have truly come into this world to live for.

Like so, we allow ourselves to collapse and surrender to something greater then us - the whispers of our ancestors, the teachings of the plants, the ally-ship of the animals, the love of our planet, the light of the stars we come from, and the blessings of the whole universe; in this way serving as bridges for all that once was to be healed THROUGH us, so that we may clear the way as we rise in our spirit-dance for the new generations to cross over the grounds we have planted with reverence for the medicine present today.

I have always experienced the Music in my world as my greatest source of light. These artists- outrageous expressers of the human soul in all if its ineffability, are the Medicine Men and Women of our time. As i listen to the music being broadcasted in the mainstream these days, i feel this original flame of purpose and virtue has been exploited and forgotten. It is for this reason that I find myself today being naturally drawn to the organic sounds of diversity channeled through cultures and peoples still rooted in a sense of belonging to the land, and living in the presence of mind, heart, and body as one; and it is with this awareness and intention for connecting to the shamanic states of altered consciousness of original humans that this playlist of modernized groove’s has been curated.

May all the prayers of the artists sampled on these tracks, of the producers, as well as of those singing and praying and healing all over the world come together to bring us back into the ways in which we always were meant to be. Together in ceremony, dancing around the fire. And may we remember that we are all healers as well as patients, and from HERE produce art and sing forth our future to support one another's journeys back home - to ourselves and one another.

Growing up in the House and Techno scene of Berlin Oliver early on discovered his love for electronic music while partying in Berlins music defining underground clubs and events of the time.  From the world famous E-Werk and Tresor Berlin in their peak time days to legendary places like Cookies in all its incarnations, SonnenHaus events at the back then still illegal GeburtstagsClub, WMF, Cafe Moskau, Casino, Ostgut, Club der Visionaere, Watergate, the infamous Bar25, KaterHolzig and Katerblau and years of International Deejay Gigolo parties in countless locations he soaked up the vibe and drew inspiration from all of these places and events.

His gipsy spirit made him move to Los Angeles from where he was diving into different cultures and soakin up the vibe in LA's clubs like Les Deux, Bootsie Belows, Avalon, Lure, Vanguard, Sound and LA vibe in Hollywood.
During a one year hiatus in Ecuador he started publicly djing at shamanic retreats and Ayahuasca events prior to moving back to the coast of California where in the early days of his 10 year stay in Los Angeles he regularly played at Venice Beach's Bank of Venice,  he eventually became weekly resident dj at the Viper Room on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

After over 10 years of living abroad he first moved to Barcelona, Spain before he eventually came to Krakow, Poland where he currently lives while still going back and forth to Berlin where he is connecting with his roots, his family and celebrate life with the tribe at Berlin's toytonics parties.

His sets range from: Italian Disco, Disco, House, Dark Disco, Electro, Organic House and rare obscurities!
