But as the music developped these initial inspirations were lost, and the track evolved into a description of the happy state of being boarded by a pirate of love - a pirate you already secretly love...

This song is about letting go of an abusive relationship. There’s a lot of fear and doubt that comes with separating yourself from somebody who manipulates you, and it leaves behind feelings of anger, as well as guilt and doubt. You end up questioning everything while simultaneously harbouring a lot of resentment for the person who treated you that way. We wanted this song to feel cathartic and unapologetic—it ultimately feels very healing.

L.O.E’s music tries to capture and reflect triumph, heroism, anguish and struggle throughout society. Not as a political stand, but to hold a mirror up to humanity. Weaving speech and video in to live performance to create a cinematic experience of popular culture and a reflection of our times.

Ahead of their new single release on June 24, the Post-Rock quartet is set for a headlining single launch show with FORT as support act, on June 11 at Archway in Halifax, and they will be supporting Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows in Huddersfield, on June 24 at The Parish & Manchester, on June 25 at Deaf Institute.

People Like People Like Them is the first single to be released by Halifax-based Post-Rock standout, Last Of Eden. 

The track aims to capture the desperation, futility and shift in hope and power felt by anyone driven to despair at the state of the world. It aims to provide a reminder that by standing together we can overcome. We don’t have to take this anymore. 

The words that resonate over the music are still as pertinent and relevant today as they ever were. They shine a light on how society exploits disaster, pain and conflict to turn a profit. It shows how far we still have to come as a society and how unjust the world still is.

The world is a scary place but we have a voice - we can stand up and we can be heard. No longer do we have to settle for the mundane. We shall not be overlooked and we will fight for our voices to be heard. 
The song title is inspired by a belief that we are unified and connected by shared greatness and that together we are strong.

Bought and Sold is a climate protest song about humanity’s bizarre addiction to destroying the earth for temporary profit. The song is both heavily influenced by folk rock pioneers The Byrds and the sounds of dreamy psychedelia of bands like Spiritualized, JAMC and Deerhunter. Vic Galloway of BBC Scotland calls Auld Spells “my kind of soundtrack”. Ian Corbridge of Louder Than War says Auld Spells are “definitely one of the most exciting new bands I have come across for some time”.

Circle Red are musicians and producers based in the United Kingdom and run the Full Send DNB record label. They defy categorisation and live in their own musical universe populated with infectious beats, experimental rhythms and big dance-a-long anthems. They possess a flamboyancy seldom seen on the live circuit, delivering swathes of gloriously fusioned dance music to mesmeric effect.

Although largely based within the drum and bass scene they are not restricted by code, fad or fashion and are equally at home in dubstep and even hip hop, as their recent reese filled remix of Tupac Shakurs ‘Nothin’ to lose’ will testify.

There is nothing contrived about Circle Red; their musical landscapes simply reflecting the mood and tone of each individual song and all delivered with a sonic kiss. 

Live you can expect to hear an eclectic mix of dance music from dnb rollers through to a rock onslaught and everything in between.
