This is a track I wanted to release for my fans.  I will be releasing it more "Officially" on an album soon.  It was made for a friend who passed away, and also during a time of extreme challenge in my life.  It reminds me to never stop holding on to life for as long as im here.  <3

The fourth track from my new album 'Memory Trails' ✨

I started this tune after I came back to Portugal from the US almost a year ago, I played at Tipper & Friends Rendezvous (Suwannee), Infrasound Ferstival and The Black Box, this little tour sparked a lot of inspiration and was absolute 🔥. I landed just a day before my birthday, as a present from my friends there I got a ‘Micro Freak’ synthesizer which is a super fun little synth made by Arturia. I started playing around and made this dreamy sequence on the Micro Freak and this is how this tune started, with inspiration from my journey in the US infused with lots of Bassy vibes.

Drawing from years of sonic exploration and shaped by travels across the globe, 'Memory Trails' marks a pivotal moment in MantisMash’s musical evolution. Surging basslines, shimmering textures, and finely-tuned rhythms flow seamlessly across the album's nine tracks, balancing technical precision with MantisMash's signature sense of play. From the organic warmth of "Echofluid" and saturated echoes of "Behind the Thunder," to the deep DnB grooves of "BeatJunx" and "Reflekt," the album pushes the boundaries of psychedelic bass music while remaining deeply connected to its roots.

Richly detailed and alive with a sense of movement, 'Memory Trails' signals the next chapter in a journey shaped by travel, performance, and the ever-shifting landscapes of the musical world.

Circuit Bent were manufactured inside the bowels of a top secret laboratory for the purpose of being super soldiers hell bent on world domination. After the mad scientists realized the true nature of the monsters they had created they tried to destroy the foul creatures they had spawned but were overwhelmed by the sonic insanity and bled to death from their ears. To this day the location of Circuit Bent is unknown, but their presence on the internet is evidence that the world is still not safe from the global menace lurking around the corner.
