I just picked up a Norns Shield last week and gotta say, it's one of my best purchases ever ... this piece of yours is beautiful. Amazing.

Makes me want to investigate the monomer world. Sounds great.

@specialist-morgen-j: Yeah, I agree, they have plenty of character and depth. I usually run my mixes through an SSL SiX, but this time, I just recorded it straight from the norns, using the internal tape module. I felt the SiX didn't really add anything, for once :)

U Happy Now

My first gig with the monome norns and grid. Brought nothing with me but those two, using the Timber app. All was free form, triggered from the grid with some live tweaking, but a lot of work just done by Timber's lfo's and envelopes, to be honest.

For better or worse, the mix isn't processed at all, this is live directly from the norns. I kind of think the Timber filters sounded so good, I didn't want to do any additional processing on this.
