Ruman, extremeño desde que recuerda, empezó su carrera como DJ hace mas de 14 años. Años después e influenciado por sonidos a altos volúmenes en antros sudorosos se decide a producir musica. Su carrera como productor le ha llevado a sacar lanzamientos en sellos de los mas importantes de europa como WarmUp, Kazerne, Subsist, Rudiment entre otros.
Poca seriedad y mucha pasión mezclados con incontables horas procrastinando y algunas aprovechando es la clave de su éxito y su fracaso, a veces el no parar da resultados.

Ruman, from Extremadura for as long as he can remember, started his career as a DJ more than 14 years ago. Years later and influenced by high volume sounds in sweaty clubs he decided to produce music. His career as a producer has led him to releases on some of the most important labels in Europe such as WarmUp, Kazerne, Subsist, Rudiment and others.
Little seriousness and a lot of passion mixed with countless hours of procrastination and some taking advantage is the key to his success and failure, sometimes not stopping pays off.

Their sound has evolved from a focus on harder, more mental textures towards a broader palette, prioritizing expressive tools to craft tracks that are both functional and deeply engaging.

Metapattern seeks a delicate balance between familiarity and innovation. Their goal is to push the boundaries of techno while honoring its roots, delivering music that is not only dancefloor-ready but also imbued with emotion and a profound sense of artistry. This deep connection to the dancefloor stems from the artist's lifelong passion for movement, translating that energy and expression into every beat.

Metapattern is also an Ableton certified professor, author of two books, "Secrets Of Techno," and a professional educator for nearly two decades.

We're also thrilled to share  that Metapattern has just released their second album, "Lost Tapes," on the MORD label.

This episode continues VARIA's mission: championing considered electronic expression and lasting artistry.

Bio
Ignacio Cuéllar Abascal, conocido artísticamente como Isgang, es un DJ y productor de techno/hypnotic-techno nacido en Madrid en 1990. Con una notable proyección en la escena musical española, Isgang destaca por su creatividad, sentimiento y pasión por ritmos contundentes y profundos, que conforman su estilo particular. Su objetivo es sorprender al público con un concepto totalmente nuevo y prometedor, extrayendo los sonidos que lleva dentro y combinando software con instrumentos analógicos para crear la atmósfera perfecta para disfrutar del techno en su máxima expresión.
A lo largo de su carrera, ha lanzado su música en sellos reconocidos como Subsist, TMM Recordings, Diffuse Reality, Dissolved Mind Records, Sintetics, P.V.P Records, Loopaina Records, entre otros. Sus producciones han sido reproducidas en lugares emblemáticos por artistas de alto nivel.  A principios de 2023, da vida a su propio sello, Ethnic Meeting Label, donde la creatividad, la naturaleza y los sonidos más profundos y atmosféricos son los protagonistas y en 2025 crea un sublabel de Ethnic llamado Null Warp, con el que empieza editar música con sonidos más Deep, Sci-Fi y experimentales.

From the dimly-lit alleys of the underground comes the second chapter of Shadows of Future, a cryptic transmission etched in rhythm and tension. AM08 assembles a syndicate of forward-thinkers, each contribution a raw sculpture carved for the dancefloor, yet distant from familiarity.

Distorted pulses, fractured grooves, and whispers from beyond: these are not tracks, but ritual tools ,abstract in form, precise in intent.

Asier Morillas is A4, Dj and producer from Irun (Basque Country, Spain). His music career started in 2014 as a Dj and some years later in 2018 as producer, releasing his first track "Black Machine" inside of Tonal 09 Compilation, and his first EP "Point Position" on Sub tl. His debut becomes relevant and captures the attention of the media and the main artists on the scene, and he continues releasing his music in the following years on labels such as Illegal Alien (México), Evod (Italy), Edit Select (UK) or Faut Section (Lewis Fautzi ́s label). In 2022 he released his first album 'The Future Starts Now" on Axis Records, directed by Je Mills. In 2023 his second album "There Is No Night Or Day" is released on Warm Up Recordings, run by Oscar Mulero. In 2024 Asier releases his first vinyl on Voyager Recordings supported by big artists of the scene. For this 2025 he will release a new album on one of the most important techno labels, Semantica Records.

A4 has shared stage with artists like Je Mills and Oscar Mulero.
He played in some of the most charismatics Spanish Clubs like Lanna (Gijón) or Cassette (Madrid), also Gare (Porto) from Portugal among others, doing Live Acts and Dj sets.

His style is abstract and cosmic techno, cooked with modular synths and analog machines focused on futuristic sound design and complex arrangements.
