The first mix in a series that explores the percussive heavy, polyrhythmic and syncopated styles of dance music that I obsess over. Percussive Persuasion Vol. 1  warms things up with some global influenced club tunes, then builds up to a rhythmic crescendo of Afro-Portuguese Batida, before winding down with some dreamy Baile Funk. All respect and thanks to the artists that are in this mix. Tracklist provided to encourage people to check out and support the musicians.

Circus of Mind is the solo project of Brian Kelch whose distinct and eclectic style intricately weaves between varied genres of modern psychedelic music, yet inspiration is gleamed from dimensions beyond the mundane at the far edges of experience. Heavy yet spacious percussion holds room for intricate sound design and intentionally created psychedelic entities. This is music that tells a story and is meant to generate internal realms not normally accessible to our consensual awareness.
