Astronox Festival in Texas, October 2022. A rare thing occurred - I got to play a two-hour closing set at the end of the insanely inspiring lineup of Saturday night, before a morning sound break. There are some major wiggles in this set, of the crunchy/glitchy variety, in keeping with the flow for the night. Ending with some gentle touches, like a sonic hug.

This is a live recording of my opening set to celebrate my good friend Treavor Moontribe's 50th birthday. The evening took place at a Moroccan-themed restaurant in Hollywood, and Treavor played a 4-hour set after mine, so we were able to really dial in the flow. 

I've been collecting some tasty slow house music in the last few years without any real place to play them, and this set gave me a chance to flex that muscle a little, toward the end of the set. I had fun with it.

What an unforgettable night at the Mishawaka celebrating 25 years of us making music together! 🌟 This venue holds a special place in our hearts—there’s nothing like playing outdoors, next to the river, under the stars. We were blessed with beautiful souls and fans who came out to make this anniversary show truly magical. Huge gratitude to Bloomurian and the folktronica duo Siren & Seer for opening the night with such mesmerizing vibes. We were thrilled to dive deep into an extended 2-hour set for everyone! DJ Maggie carefully curates the best of downtempo electronic into lush, playful and deeply replenishing sets that invite listeners on shimmering audio odysseys. Whether leading flights to the depth of the heart or the outer dimensions of the cosmos, Maggie pilots music masterfully as a multi-dimensional tool—for joy enhancement, energy boosting, community building, a safe space for retreat, a salve for helping heal pain, or a focus-enhancing medium to optimize creativity or productivity.

Evolving her own brand of intuitive sound at the legendary Southern California desert gatherings of the groundbreaking Moontribe Collective and other conscious parties and festivals, Maggie soon established a reputation for her heart-expanding sonic rides. This eventually propelled her into the path of her current collaborations with esteemed downtempo artist and producer, Bluetech (Evan Bartholomew) and their labels Behind the Sky and  Over the Moon. Her first compilation, a 2xLP entitled ‘Matters of the Heart,’ was released in June 2021 on Behind The Sky, and she began releasing through Over the Moon in October 2021.
