Industry heavyweights Yousef, Alan Fitzpatrick and Avision team up for an astounding 2 track EP on Yousef’s Circus Recordings

The EP opens up with the dancefloor-destroying title track. A steady, up-tempo and commanding drum pattern builds the energy along with subtle synths that work their way around the rhythm. Enigmatic vocal samples flicker into the mix with high-octane echoing synth stabs cascading in halfway through, taking the track to dizzying heights.

‘Twilight Dance’ follows, kicking things off with dreamy percussion and shuffled shakers that welcome the arrival of firm 4/4 kicks. Built around a beautifully crafted jumping synth line the trio build the track with finesse layering punchy claps and zingy cymbals, punctured by occasional high-energy drones for a dose of pure euphoria.

After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong.

Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think that’s fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind.  Luckily, help is at hand as we've secured Dominica's unreleased summer anthem 'Gotta Let You Go'.

Having caused quite a stir in clubs and festivals across the globe throughout warmer months, we had feared that the track wasn't going to get an official release despite the likes of Jackmaster and Skream championing the track in their sets.

Thus we were delighted to hear that it would finally be arriving via Altra Moda Music this November and quickly set about securing it for premiere. Rock solid grooves, pumping synths and rolling snares underpin catchy, redolent vocals for a sunshine soaked floor filler guaranteed to ward off those winter blues.

Influential DJ, producer and label owner Adam Beyer takes to his own Drumcode imprint to deliver his latest peak-time floor-filler in the collaboration with Bart Skils titled 'Your Mind'.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant. 

'Your Mind' is released via Drumcode on June 18.

I put the bones of this tune together in a hotel room while road tripping between gigs in Arizona earlier this year, feeling super inspired by the west coast clubs I’d been playing at. The vocals were written and recorded while sick in bed, using my tour manager's iPhone earbud microphone and a doona cover as my vocal booth. At the time I had planned on replacing the demo with a cleaner take when I got home to Australia, but I was never able to recreate something as gritty and weird... so it stayed! It's been slaying it for me ever since, I hope it slays for you guys too ❤️🙌🏼

After an incredible CLOSE Tour in Paris, Glasgow and London we are leading into another crazy week, the annual Amsterdam ADE conference.  This year is a special one for me as I’ll be doing a special extended set on Friday October 19th  for Loveland's new All-Nighters concept at Warehouse Houthavens, which gives me plenty of time to weave in and out of lots of special sounds, frequencies and rhythms.  To get you through the week here is the recording of my BPM festival set from just a few weeks ago, which will surely get you in the mood and give you a taste of what to expect on Friday night!

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

The process - From Music to unique Art-Vinyl 

As part of our holistic concept every Vinyl is a unique piece of art.
Our releasing artists have the chance to paint their own cover art on a mosaic of 4x4 blank Vinyl covers, which we use as a big canvas. 

This entire picture is then used to create the album cover for the digital release and vinyl production. To make each vinyl unique, we decided to hand paint the cover lines on the front cover of every vinyl. So you can become the owner of a small piece of art & music. The vinyls are also limited and numbered. So better be fast!

'Vancouver-based producer 747 returns with his first original release since 2019, and shares the news of his forthcoming EP, While My 303 Gently Weeps -- his first since his widely acclaimed 2017 Aurora Centralis EP. Slated for release on February 12th, the While My 303 Gently Weeps EP will feature 4 meticulously produced tracks that invite us to experience his unmistakably futuristic sound. Out today via longtime label Aquaregia Records, the titular single boasts the Canadian native’s signature 303 flair driven forward by a hollow drum kick and a melodic acid techno lead.  

Ryan Chan - alias 747 - pushed himself to the forefront of a new crop of Acid Techno producers with his distinct blend of introspective cuts that teeter between the warehouse-primed and at-home-listening spaces. His latest single arrives nearly a year following the release of the star-studded Aurora Centralis remix EP, which included reworks from Schacke, nthng, Primal Code, and Tin Man. “While My 303 Gently Weeps” - a charming nod to The Beatles’ ‘68 White Album listing - showcases 747 at his most powerful. Landing us entirely on another planet, it leads with a combination of unforgiving kicks, repetitive galactic melodies, and an enveloping snare before climaxing in a serene space that echoes his signature acid touch. 

"I recorded this track mostly when the lockdown first hit. I had been listening to a lot of rock from the '70s and got completely immersed for a few months - I even started to teach myself to play guitar. Those few months started to make me think that it's quite sad the direction music is going - less soul, less musical aptitude, less of a human aspect, less control. Now it's all about step sequencer modules that generate random patterns that do the song writing for you, plugins where you can play in key without knowing music theory, or even music generated by AI. Who knows if an era so rich in musical talent like the ‘70s will ever come back, but I knew I wanted my music to capture a bit of that essence. ‘While My 303 Gently Weeps’ features a 303 solo and it’s something you can get lost in, kind of like a long guitar solo from a rock song. It’s also easy to understand and digest as you’re less in awe of the sound design and engineering like you would with most techno and instead you’re swept away by gliding 303 notes and emotions. My hope is that if you ever hear this on a dance floor in the future, you and everyone around will be in sync and be feeling the same type of way about the track."- 747
