injection w/ SUBWOOF x Soo Intoit [12.12.23]

Inspired by club dance songs, I develop my sets with groovy bass and raw, hypnotic, gayish elements in a chic, complex conjunction, playing mainly techno (detroit, tribal, hard groove with hints of hardcore and schranz), but acid and hard house, too.

I like the idea of my set progressing harder to digest (getting more hypnotic or harder groove as the set goes, ending in a sort of chaos) and to play at slower tempo - around 140bpm.

Bio:

Being a gay kid that loved pop, but having to hide my love for Lady Gaga at home, I discovered Daft Punk as a band that I could show some love for and not being judged. French house paved my love for EDM, introducing me to Ed. Banger and, specially, Justice, when I would really rock to the acid noise of Waters of Nazareth feeling the coolest kid in my class.

Some time went on, a lot more pop came, I became addicted to M.I.A, Madonna's Ray of Light, got to know Björk and Arca (which I listened extensively for a year), got to discover a lot of songs trying to listen as many artists as I could while reading Discogs best albums, including the amazing Aphex Twin. That teenage times were essential in my musical repertory formation. I started knowing what was well evaluated and what was not.

More recently I discovered the folks of Coletivo Caldeirão, at the same time that I went to my first Rave, when I got fully immersed in music while tripping, I felt something awesome there, as if a part of my brain had just unlocked. Music really is something isn't?

After that, I just began listening to more and more electronic songs, and had access to play in a controller. There it was, Celopheu was born, the rest is what you can see in my sets, hope you enjoy 🤍
