I wanted to do this as a livestream until I realized that the wifi where I live probably isn't good enough to support that. So this is a one take mix with a few imperfections that represents some of the higher energy sounds and feelings that have been brewing inside for the last number of months. While the initial FMLRTY mix was recorded when we couldn't do proper events, this is still about being able to connect from quieter spaces and grounded places. 

Recorded on July 14th from the Leq’á:mel First Nation, “the level place where people meet.”

Born and raised in Toronto, Ciscles (he/him) now resides in St:olo territory. With a background as a guitarist and hip-hop producer, Ciscles has been a stalwart of the underground bass scene on the west coast for a decade now. It's been over a year since I put out a mix. Time flies.

This one is a sampler of some of the 140 tunes I've been rinsing at the select and intimate gatherings I've got to play recently.

Grateful for these intense but significant times that have given us the chance to breathe and collectively reevaluate our priorities.

It should go without saying that black lives matter & indigenous lives matter. I am extremely indebted to the living cultural legacy of black music and to the unceded lands upon which I reside.

In lieu of the regular events that we've all been missing, I present this mix, from my living room to yours.
