Observatory resident Fran Domingo takes over for the second hour, navigating a refined path through deep, propulsive broken beats, and into the cross-point of techno and dubstep.

In July 2025, our friends, the Avantgarden Crew, invited Lars Hemmerling and Pat Flanders to the Community Gathering in the Monom Bar of the legendary Funkhaus Berlin, where the two of them stood behind the decks together for the first time.
Still, their gathering felt and sounded more like a team that has been working together forever than an improvised set. 

If you were there, you know that. If not, much of their performance was recorded to give you a flavor of this great evening/night of performances and exhibitions, and perhaps a taste of what's to come.
