Alex, known as A1XD0K, is a composer and producer originally from France and the UK, now based in Western Canada. Blending the grooves of French touch, hip hop, trip hop, dub, rock, house and funk, his music fuses nostalgic warmth with modern electronic pulse keeping sounds in motion, rising, falling, shifting and finding balance. Dub echoes, boom bap rhythms, evolving harmonics, shape contrasts between tension and release, embracing imperfections while guiding the flow with the aim of creating music that moves, adapts and endures.

I am DJ Transaction Producer/DJ from Brooklyn NYC since 2004. When I create original music, I'm always keeping in mind to do something different that no one else is doing. Also recently, i been focusing more on the story telling of my songs rather than just seeing if melodies fits together. Story telling is what AI will and can never do in music and it is what will set the humans apart from generic music. For the above reasons is why I will never restrict myself to only one genre. La música cautiva la atención de este dj/productor desde pequeño. Durante años forma parte de bandas de punk-hardcore, interesándose también en otros estilos musicales (ska-reggae-dub-electrónica-jazz).

En el año 2000 decide cambiar la guitarra por dos platos y una mesa de mezclas, comenzando a coleccionar discos de electro y techno. Su pasión por la electrónica le lleva a ampliar su abanico musical y adquiere vinilos de otros estilos: deep house, detroit techno, deep techo, dub techno, etc.

Tras varios años pinchando por diversas salas, raves y fiestas privadas, estudia saxofón, jazz y música moderna, pasando a formar parte de varias bandas. Paralelamente a esto, adquiere sintetizadores, cajas de ritmos, módulos de FX... para dar el salto a la producción musical.
