What more to say about Adriatique that hasn't already been said. Their mixsets are staples of the Cityfox podcasts for obvious reason. But this, a live recording from The Cityfox Experience: Enclave on April 5, 2014 in Brooklyn, demonstrates exactly why they've ascended so quickly to becoming favorites the world over to those fortunate enough to hear them live. Taking the decks after an opening from Naveen G (Listen to his full set, here: bit.ly/NGCF2014), they jumped right in, building pressure, the perfect anticipation for what they then unleashed. The spring was sprung, and it was entirely too much fun.

Rich NxT, one of FUSE’s core residents, returns for his fourth EP on the FUSE London label. Set for release in April, the ‘Wasteline EP’ sees him build upon his fine earlier work with another mesmerizing journey through expertly crafted underground sounds. 

Title track ‘Wasteline’ is an impressive opener, which stretches over seven glorious dubbed out minutes. The track is characterised by its infectious groove, which rolls along at a steady pace and is complemented by expertly placed distorted sounds and vocal snippets. ‘Instate’ continues in a similar vein, but this time warm reverb pads shine through darkness of the crisp percussion. With distorted vocal fragments and echoing cowbells added to the equation at just the right moments, the clever arrangement results in a totally engrossing and hypnotic track. ‘Daybreak’ – is another functional dance-floor weapon, with heavy bass, sharp drums and echoes ringing throughout, these sounds all combine to create a deeper-than-deep eyes closed heads down vibe that is a perfect fit for the FUSE dancefloor.

Rounding off the EP is remix of ‘Wasteline’ under their acclaimed Kilimanjaro project. While the dubby essence of the original remains, the duo instantly stamp their mark on the record through raising the BPM with razor sharp percussion and adding sublime deep bass and warm soaring synths which wash over the punchy beat.

On the ‘Wasteline EP’ Rich demonstrates his considerable production prowess and as expected from one of FUSE’s most trusted residents it contains all the elements that one would associate with the much-loved FUSE sound: deep dubby house and techno of the highest order, rich in details and sound. The ‘Wasteline EP’ leaves listeners eagerly anticipating Rich’s next output and hearing the release on the dancefloor.

Three years on from 2011’s These Sounds, Ross’ latest offering showcases his ability to adapt, and to continue making solid, upfront house music. 

The first of the two-tracker, Let It Go, kicks off proceedings by fusing soulful vocals with an infectious bassline, culminating in a blistering workout for the dance-floor.  This is balanced perfectly by the more peak-time This Is Carcosa over on the B side, which really showcases Ross’ effortless talent.  This Is Carcosa binds eerie vocals with a solid, jacking groove to round off what may be a package of Ross Evan’s best work to date.

After producing two of the biggest singles on Hot Creations, Brazilian duo Digitaria are preparing to unleash a full-­length studio album, 'Night Falls Again' on Jamie Jones' trailblazing imprint. 'Favourite Addiction' is the first single to drop and features the brilliant and enigmatic Clarian North. An album standout, 'Favourite Addiction' featuring Clarian has an unbridled energy, cleverly framed by seductive vocals flaunting lyrics that spark with the shimmer of pop but are grounded by the power of raw electro. Hot Creations newcomer Jey Kurmis and industry stalwarts Groove Armada both deliver ace interpretations on a 'Remix' and 'Dub Creation' respectively. Jey brings a thumping techy, rolling groove while Groove Armada takes the track to an other-worldly rave dimension, with epic, dream-like synth melodies and powerful bass to guarantee this release is marked essential.

Digitaria are Daniela Caldellas and Daniel Albinati, two Brazilians that came together a decade ago first - releasing in 2006  on  German  label  Gigolo Records which was relicensed to Ministry of Sound and led to their debut album on the label. After a meeting with Jamie Jones in their hometown in 2011 they joined the roster of the Hot Creations label, releasing 'Masochist' and 'Shine' in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Montreal's Clarian North formerly of Footprintz has released on various house labels du jour, such as Visionquest, Supplement Facts, and Life & Death.

Jey Kurmis is a Leeds based producer who has been dj´ing all over the UK for almost ten years and producing for around 7 years. Jey recently released his  'Lil' Nic French EP' on Hot Creations. Over the past fifteen years Groove Armada have become established as one of the planet's best-loved and biggest selling dance acts. Now they release on one the biggest record labels of recent times.
