The Escape series proudly presents the next slice of wax featuring 4 brilliant artists and their stunning sounds. First up is a fresh cut from the Americanborn veteran Elbee Bad, >Supa Kewl<. The track draws its energy from a bustling percussive atmosphere, pulling inspiration from the depths of tech, house, and a rich history of musical expertise. Carrying the torch further, Duererstuben drops another dancefloor-mover titled >Tush & Harsh<. The track plays just about as you’d expect from its titling, making for an extraordinary dance track full of deep groove and a thick atmosphere to bounce the night away. Rising Suns takes an afterhour atmosphere and throws is thick groove under it, giving a glorious euphoria as >Flying In The Wind< turns out to be the perfect title. And finally, Freund Der Famillie crafts a breathtaking journey into dub-tech territory. >Grand Rue< holds back in its delivery, slowly dripping onto itself and its true, brooding form.

Anton Dhouran is Paris-based a young composer, musician and DJ, 23 years young and already signed with several labels such as Diynamic music, Einmusika, Chapter 24 and Manual music. 

Born into a family of movie-makers and having grown up dreaming of writing music for film, the 23-year old has turned his hand to making cinematic dance tracks.

Dhouran’s first full-length LP, 'The Myth of Tarae', is typically epic in its breadth and narrative, effortlessly melding the combination of electronic, instrumental and cinematic styles for which he has become known. 
In keeping with the cinematographic thrust of the work, it is accompanied by a short film which matches the music in its scope and ambition.  

The film, which scores the album’s powerful title track, is a project overseen by Dhouran with the aim of raising awareness of the current plight of the environment.  Both music and film share an apocalyptic, haunting but ultimately uplifting quality. 

True to Chapter 24’s ‘stories in sound’ ethos, the ten-track LP is fuelled by a desire to take listeners on a journey.

Like George Orwell's futuristic world in "1984", Ampispazi's 84th release is looking at a far away future, dropping label honcho Mik Santoro's mesmerising "A Distant Place". AMP084 waves goodbye to the past and to 2017 and introduces us to a new year with Mik's forward thinking LP. Mik Santoro (who was born in 1984 - coincidentally) wraps up an intimate and soulful imaginary with the 8 tracks included in 'A Distant Place'. The album is a collection of melancholic tracks, some of which are melodic and reflective, others are groovy and club focused. The ability of Mik is to mix synths solos with rumbling bass lines, timeless arp sounding synths and evocative vocal samples, which merged all together create that dreamy atmosphere the label has always provided. Downtempo tracks like 'Feeling Like Sundays' or 'What Happen' works perfectly alongside dance floor killers like 'The Good Person' or the title track. There is also space for the elaborate and brainy 'Requiem for', a special ambient track, a crescendo of feelings and emotions. Whether it's an inspired vocal sample or a hypnotic line, this album has got Mik special and unique melodic sense that makes his music dreamy. 84 is the number, 'A Distant Place' is the name.
