CITY IN THE DISTANCE are an electronica ensemble comprising Oscar Cassidy (Outgroup, Nick Pride &amp; The Pimptones) and Brendan Ratliff (Syphus, Outsight) [feat. occasional collaborations with Athol Cassidy (Smoove &amp; Turrell, Project Dolphin)]
Dual- wielding impressive musicianship and a sophisticated pop sensibility, they create intelligent dance music that turns up at your party, shoots lazers out of its eyes, then explodes in a shower of magic.
