I am Nasty is the first release by DJ Nasty Deluxe on our new label. The DJ and producer based in Macedonia delivers a very great and varied EP with his work. The Tietletrack I am Nasty comes with a powerful kick drum and fat basses. With the typical Acid sound of the TB 303 and the small but fine effect gimmicks, the track convinced us right away. In addition to the original version, there is also a tech-house remix by Arthur van Dyk, as well as a remix of the track Violet Sky by Roland Romer and Ill Boy Phil. Arthur van Dyks tech-house interpretation comes with a cool beat. The swinging bass groove and the perfectly staged vocal are definitely the two main actors here. The small synth and percussion gimmicks make the remix a well-rounded affair. The Roland Romer & Ill Boy Phil Remix of Violet Sky will send you on a real trip. The wild percussions, the crazy synths and acid lines as well as the sophisticated arrangement convinced us right away. Statement: An absolutely strong release, with three tracks that convince everyone. The single is now available in all stores and on all well known streaming services! DJ Nasty Deluxe, was born in Bavaria Landshut, Germany and currently residing in Macedonia, Ohrid. DJ Nasty is a master behind the decks and he proves it every single time on his podcast collective called City of Drums - Drumcast Series. He is also a wizard in the production space releasing on his label City of Drums and many other labels like Pink Revolver, BluFin Records and so many more.

BIO:

DJ/Producer Kristijan Nestoroski aka Nasty Deluxe was born in south Bavaria Landshut/Germany.

At the age of 11, he recognized his love for music which drove him forward. In time his music was a mix, crossing over all genres.
In the late '90s, Kristijan’s way finally leads him into electronic music with a stopover in the late '80s and early '90s in the Hip-Hop scene. He is very open-minded about music and he has immense experience in terms of playing.

Away from the Street Kristijan was trained in Landshut's "DJ Center" by "Patrick Botterau" aka "DJ Captain Funk", Co-founder of Ex - "Kiss FM", and ex-"Jam Fm Berlin", his Patron, and Mentor. He recognized his Talent early and missed the necessary fine-tuning.

Since 2007 DJ Nasty Deluxe lives in Macedonia, Ohrid. Gigs with Giant Producers and DJs like David Morales, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Tom Novy, Sandy Rivera, Milk & Sugar, Tomcraft, Artbat, Matthew Dekay, Nic Fanciulli, Deborah De Luca, and much more constantly grace his way to this day.

Subchord or better known as Marc Vasquez is a DJ, producer and remixer of numerous productions. Already at the end of the 80s or early 90ies he released music for ZYX and Undercover under serval synonyms. Due to his versatility and dedication to music, he is already a legend in his lifetime. Along with his love for the other styles of music like house, tech-house and straight techno, dub techno has become his passion. Under his synonym Subchord he has released several releases like "Everlasting Sea, Campfire Stories, Sandcastles together with Ilya Orange on his newly founded label "augmented reality recordings" a new record has been announced for spring 23', which he is writing in collaboration with dub techno legend roman ridder.

Frieder Morneweg Returns with “Nightlife” – A Hypnotic Progressive House Journey on City of Drums Black Label

Emerging electronic music artist Frieder Morneweg makes a powerful return with his third release on City of Drums Black Label, unveiling his latest Progressive House creation: “Nightlife.” Known for his deep, atmospheric soundscapes and organic grooves, Morneweg once again delivers a dreamy, immersive track that invites listeners to drift into another dimension.

“Nightlife” captures the enigmatic essence of a city after dark—mysterious, pulsating, and full of hidden stories. The inspiration for the track was sparked during a late-night walk through the urban streets of his hometown.
Morneweg shares:
“I was wandering through the streets after a long studio session. The contrast between silence and sudden bursts of life—bars, neon lights, people laughing—created this rhythm in my head. ‘Nightlife’ was born from that feeling.”

Blending melodic depth, silky beats, and subtle percussive textures, “Nightlife” evolves gradually, drawing listeners deeper into its sonic narrative. It's a track equally suited for intimate afterhour sets and personal late-night listening.
