With the release of the single Back on Black we at City of Drums are entering a new era. 
City of Drums becomes City of Drums Black Label. The cards are reshuffled and we start 
our new venture full of enthusiasm.
For the first release, our label head Mathias Teichmann took it upon himself to produce the 
first single together with his longtime label buddy and good friend Kristian Nestoroski. With 
this release, the two producers deliver 2 really fat techno bangers.
The main track Back on Black comes across as strong and powerful. The hypnotizing lead 
synth runs through the track and gives the title a great atmosphere. Just the right thing for 
peak time on the dance floor.
In addition to the main title, the single also contains the title Our Choice.
This one comes with a powerful kick drum and a deep rumble. The driving hihats and 
minimalistic synths seem almost hypnotic and give the track a great atmosphere.

Somnium is Lesser Light's first release on our new label with which the South African DJ and producer draws his audience to the darker side of the Techno realm. As his project stands for exactly that, deep, raw techno combined with dark textures and hypnotic rhythms. The main title "Somnium" is a raw Techno track with a floating lead synth that forms a hypnotic and driving unit with the deep rumble textures which could transcend many a raver into a state of trance. In Aether, Lesser Light continues the raw form of techno, albeit a little more minimalistic than the title track. But that's not all, the EP is completed by a remix by The Electronic Advance & DJ Nasty Deluxe. Their peak-time interpretation is powerful and driving with cool tribal and rave elements. Kristijan and Mathias were impressed by a team of people who successfully realized a seemingly impossible effort! From the inspiration of this topic, a beautiful track was created. A journey into space full of emotions and dreamy melodies. The remix part of this EP was done by no one less than Paul Hamilton. He made an awesome Progressive House interpretation, an absolutely brilliant job.

Hardvalley returns with his brand-new work Nexus-6 after his first release on our label in 2022. The inspiration for the track was the movie “Blade Runner” and the epic soundtrack of Vangelis. As an old Sci-Fi fan, Hardvalley was fascinated by the story and the vision behind it. The result is this beautiful melodic Techno title touched by Acid accents. The remix was done by 3 in house producers of our label: Cut N Glue, The Electronic Advance and DJ Nasty Deluxe made an awesome Peak Time Techno interpretation with focus on the Acid lines of the original title. A brilliant job of everyone involved.

I am Nasty is the first release by DJ Nasty Deluxe on our new label. The DJ and producer based in Macedonia delivers a very great and varied EP with his work.
