Octaves Dragonfly occupies and navigates two worlds of quite varying discovery: a world of technology by trade and a world of shamanism by path.

He is a seeker–at once a dominion of his own history and an interpreter of philosophies surrounding the unknown.

In understanding that life is a series of quests, he has used both the written and spoken word as navigational tools, whether folkloric or historical… lyrical or poetic.

As such, his own work as healer, musician, and writer, are maps marked with love, loss, redemption, and tribulation.

He currently resides on the shores of Lake Ontario, where he continues to share what he has gathered via music, literature, and apothecary.

Pragma is the highest form of love; the true commitment that comes from understanding, compromise and tolerance.

CityWhite grew up listening to folk music such as: America, Joni Mitchell, CSNY, country music such as: Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers... Over the years, it shifted to: metal/arena rock such as: Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath. Twists and turns through the 80 and 90s brought Citywhite in touch with Hip-Hop and Rave aka EDM. Many many lifetimes later, here we are.
